Clean friendly welcoming place and relatively newly built. Rooms are a nice size too. Midsized facility so not so big but still having enough activities to keep her busy and happy. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to others!... Read more

When this faculty first opened it was excellent. We felt great about moving our loved one here. Since it has been taken over by Sage Senior Living and renamed as Kyffin Grove the facility and the staff have gone down tremendously. The director’s focus is completely misdirected. Our loved one has little to no interaction and the floor is dirty with stained carpet and seating. DO NOT send your loved one here!

It was fine when it was managed by The Arbor Company. Things have gone drastically down hill since Sage Management took over. Consistency of care and staff is all over the map. There is no clear vision or leadership. Communication between management, staff and family is very poor. Trust level are very weak between hands-on caregiving staff and management. The lack of trust and unhappiness of the staff is palpable and trickles down to poor trust levels between residents and caregivers. If your looking for quality care, engaged living and peace of mind that your loved one is safe and well cared for, keep looking. Do not move them here.

Toured here in 2015. Was very nice but was a little more than our budget could handle at the time. I'm not sure what it's like since it changed names.

I have a loved one in the facility. The place was great when it was Solana. The facility has gone down dramatically since Sage Senior Living took over. It is clear there in no accountability for the quality of care provided to the clients. The facility in general no longer appears clean and has an odor. In the memory care unit there is consistent smell of urine. The staff are not interactive with the clients they had been when it was Solana. There is constant turnover in staff. The residents laundry is poorly done. On more than one occasion I have found other residents clothing in my loved ones room. They are supposed to label all the residents clothing this is rare at best. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am not pleased with my loved one's stay at Kyffin Grove. There is a high level of staff and management turnover, so there is very little to no consistency. They don't seem to be able to keep their staff very long. I have also found that the care for residents is very low quality. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

This is a newer community which was very nice. They only had shared rooms available at the time we looked. We also had another community a bit closer to where we live that was comparable in pricing and newer.

Don't be fooled. Words can't express enough how horrible our family member was treated by management. Don't expect to get what you pay for if your family member needs any type of care. You must always keep on top of how your family member is taken care of and treated. The Facility was beautiful initially but went down hill with lack of proper up keep. Basics such as daily housekeeping and laundry is lacking and annually cleanings are needed. This is not a place where your family member will "age in place". Management will try to have you believe they treat everyone like "family" but don't be fooled. It's all about the money and not the residents. Some of the good staff are truly remarkable but the amount of staffing turn-over is unsettling. Sorry we ever thought this would be a "home" for our family member.

Seems like all of the good staff are leaving. Communication with nursing has gone out the window since Justin left. If you ask a question now to the head nurse in charge your are lucky if she knows what your talking about. Brittany is missed dearly by my mother and me, as she always made sure that mom was engaged in conversation in the mornings. Mom still complains about the food daily to me, and the bistro often is bare of snacks when I come in the evenings. Some of the receptionists even bring in treats for the residents to slice them because of the area not being stocked as it should. Mom's room has been much cleaner now that I said something about it a few months back. Overall the care givers are good, but you can tell some of them don't want to be there and they are only there to collect a check. For what my mom is paying, she and I expect a lot more. I'm writing this review in hope that things start to improve, or we will start to look elsewhere.

I have always looked up to my grandparents and have helped them with everything. Once they started to age we placed them in Solana. It started out great until they were bought out. It started to go down hill from there. The facility has a smell like it hasn't been cleaned, missing clothing out of my grandparents room, no help from the staff. Due to the fast decline of this facility we decided to place my grandparents into another home. Move out day was worse, my mother caught staff [removed] my grandparents furniture, and then the staff lied to her face. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

I can not begin to explain the love that myself and my family have felt the staff of The Solana give to my mother since she moved in. The caring and professional manner at how they are there for you to answer your concerns is above and beyond. Communication with nursing is headed by Justin and he makes sure that we stay informed about mom and her care. The staff on Bridges, where mom lives, has been wonderful. Jasmine, Carol, and Darcel care for mom as if she was their own mother. I am so happy that my father and I can rely on The Solana to provide the kind of care that we expect her to get, but can no longer do on our own. Check this community out and you won't regret you did.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

The Solana Horsham has been wonderful, every step of the way. Their admissions person, Kylie, is excellent. She was so supportive helping us make our decision. She seemed to genuinely care about my mom since the moment she met her and brought her her favorite treat, a frappe, while my mom was still in the hospital. In Solana, my mom gets wonder care. They are very attentive. There are always activities going on that seems fun, there is always music playing, the atmosphere is wonderful. My mother is now on hospice with end stage Alzheimer and hospice comes in to her in Solana. The staff are still able to meet all her needs and exceed my expectations. I am glad that my mom is spending her end there with such good care.

Excellent facility. My Mom has lived there for 2 months so far. The staff is wonderful! Everyone knows Mom by name and they treat her like their own family. The nurses and aides have been very attentive and ensure any potential issues are proactively managed. The facility is lovely, and Mom enjoys the food too. So glad we found Solana Horsham!

My uncle and aunt needed to move to assisted living because my aunt was fading fast. 24-hour care in NY, where they lived, was too expensive. Solana Horsham, nearer to family, proved the best home for them both financially and because everything about it spoke to happy and caring employees and residents. The staff couldn't have been nicer and gentler; the food was fine and the snack bar area for "in betweens" was a caring and happy touch. Residents on all floors were well cared for and seemed happy. Many gave us such positive testimonials, it helped cement the deal. If your family needs assisted living, do not think twice: ask for Migdalia Cosante, and you will be very pleased.

My mom has been at Solana for almost two months. The people who work there are amazing!!!! It is a beautiful facility, very clean, very friendly, and I feel my mom is getting good care. BUT I have had problems getting paperwork submitted to the insurance company and that is a real issue. Also, my mom is not happy with the food (I will acknowledge she is picky, but there is a happy medium where lunch and dinner could get a bit better and she could expect less). Other than that, there are no complaints, just gratitude that we found such a good place with great people. I will post back in a month to say whether my issues have been resolved.

Trust me...Solana is wonderful "gift" for your loved one! The "NEW Solana"...now under Arbor Company... has it all. Mom has been there for a little over a year now. I have been through the ups/downs and sideways of the establishment of this facility...it is a little over a year old itself! I likely know all the previous folks who have commented. One thing is for sure...this management has a TRUE open door engagement with family members. NO concern will go unheeded. the new director has a picture of her smiling grandma that is placed on her desk for all the staff to see...inspiring the staff to continually strive to place that kind of a smile on ALL residents' faces! And trust me....they do! Whether the awesome nursing staff, engaging Brittany at the welcome desk or the support staff..food delivery staff...they all know, respect and shower love on her. Even the housekeeper tells me sometimes she stays a little longer in mom's room when mom is excited to chat with her. Only a truly caring staff provides the "extra" care we really want for our loved ones. As far as programs...they really try to sync up activities for each type of resident. They characterize them by "gem stones" ..ask them about this...Really nice empowering way to "meet them where they are at." The BIGGEST UNIQUE offering Solana has was MY key decision. Unlike all other facilities that have just an "assisted" section and "Alzheimer's section"...Solana built an -absolutely gorgeous- "transition section" called Bridges for those folks who are not fully able to be merely "assisted' and yet who are not in a state of much more need in Alzheimer's sections. Activities match them and keep them stimulated wherever they are in the most warm, safe and stylish space. I think it is an overall "win!" Please do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself.
