Because we are a licensed Intermediate Care Facility, we can accommodate a large range of short- or long-term care needs, so that you’re able to age in place as your needs change. My loved one was a resident at Sunrise for a short amount of time. Overall, it was a decent experience. Although most of the time the staff were sitting around on their phones, not changing her sheets, not quite sure what other types of things were not being done, but they seemed to have a lot of time on their hands if they were sitting around.

My loved one is currently a resident at Sunrise of Des Peres and overall the experience has been okay so far at this facility. The upper management is very approachable. The care staff can be slow to respond at times. The food service is okay and works with dietary needs. The housekeeping is fair. The med techs are very good.

I really do not have anything to compare to, but some of the staff are wonderful caring people and then there are a few who could care less. Housekeeping is not consistent and help with the move in process was non-existent. Communication with the family so far has been average. The meals are good quality, but repetitive. I would recommend this facility because they work hard to do the best they can with what they have to work with.

I would praise the care staff , facility, and support that my loved one is receiving. Unfortunately, I cannot say anything positive regarding the billing, accounting and administration of those matters. I have not been able to use the portal due to invoices being incorrect, and the portal will only accept full invoice payment. This aspect of my experience is very disappointing.

Our family had an in person tour with Sunrise of Des Peres and we really liked the experience. However their level of care pricing structure was not transparent, but overall it really is a lovely homey place.
I would recommend you check the community out to see if it would be a good fit for your loved one. The staff communication with the family is very good when we have questions or concerns. There are three meals and day served and there choices to choose from. There is flower arranging, music, church services, and more as some of the activities offered to the residents.

My loved one was a resident here for quite awhile. Communication with the family wasn't good. They weren't prompt about her needs. The food wasn't good. We moved her to a different place.

We had a very good tour experience with Surnise of Des Peres. It came down to the locaiton for our family, but this facility was in our top 3.

There is not enough staff to take care of residents, leaving them to fend for themselves. They lose their clothes, don’t do laundry for days and had my residents’ dirty clothes left in the shower. It takes them way too long to respond to a residents call, or end up never coming. They lie about incidents with residents because they think they’re too old and senile to remember or care. A joke of a place that needs to shut down they aren’t helping anyone.

They've been fantastic. Given the circumstances my Mom is in, they have provided the absolute best care possible for her. They've really assisted in helping her get to a place where she may be able to have some independence. We feel that in a nursing home, she might not have have had that opportunity. So this has actually been very helpful and good for her. They've been incredibly patient and kind, and so helpful in the ever-changing situation my Mom is in.

It was a good experience. I thought it was a good community for assisted living. The staff was very friendly, including to all visitors. And they were very accommodating with questions and providing help. The facility was nice. It had an atrium that was very nice, and there were a lot of outdoor features, so it was pleasant to sit outside. The grounds were very nice.

They are very short staffed, the staff to resident ratio is low. Some things that we were told that they offered are not actually offered. They do not seem to have a lot of activities offered. They have lack of spiritual support for the residents. The head guy [name removed] has been great. We do like the staff members that they do have here and the facility itself is beautiful.

Through this pandemic, I feel they have done a good job holding things together. The communication between the staff and the families is very good. They keep us updated with any Covid information and info about our loved one. I would recommend this community to others

They are very flexible to your needs. They have Independent Living, Assisted Living as well as Memory Care, so residents can age in place. They are very easy to work with. The chef just came up to talk to me about my dietary needs. They have a gazebo, outdoor eating area and walking paths. The rooms are laid out well. They are in the process of remodeling and upgrading the rooms. They have wide hallways, which works well for my electric scooter. I feel safe here. The entrance is very attractive, it does not look or feel like a hotel it gives it a more home-like feel.

$3,011.00. Closer to 270 but still one way traffic pattern. Easier for girls to visit grandma. More expensive, add on costs bring it closer to $5,000.00/month. Visited on Saturday and told I would receive a call back on Monday. Today is Wednesday and still no follow up. VERY CONCERNING.

I would never recommend this place for your loved ones. They have lied to us and allowed our loved one to starve to death. They consistently blamed it on the disease. We feel we were misled by the facilities. Please make sure you visit often so you can check on your loved ones.
