Meramec Bluffs

The facility is beautiful and well run. These people are very competent and when faced with a problem, will try so hard to find a solution. The community is warm and welcoming, so important after undergoing the stressful experience of a major life style change and move.

Meramec Bluffs is a great place to live. LSS has been involved with senior living communities for many years and I value what their expertise brings to their properties. Residents and staff are very friendly and welcoming. There are lots of activites and you can participate or not as you like. And being a single person I like the fact that they have all levels of care-independent living, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation care and skilled care--so I know that I will be taken care of as my needs change. I highly recommend and encourage your consideration of Meramec Bluffs as a living community to meet your needs.

My husband and I are extremely happy we made the decision to move to Meramec Bluffs. It was expensive at move in; however our monthly fee is less than the upkeep on our former home. I was concerned that my husband would not be happy in an apartment, but he has verbally told me and other residents how happy he is since we settled in. We've expressed how many chores we don't have to do ourselves now. We have no maintenance worries since we don't have to search for contractors to do work only to have them not show up. All maintenance is done for us from repairing a leak to changing filters on the air conditioner, replacing light bulbs and batteries on the smoke alarms. Calling maintenance is easy; in an emergency such as the air conditioner quits, someone shows up within a few minutes and determines what needs to be done, then it is done. We have been educated as to action during fire or tornado emergencies. Our car is parked inside a garage so we don't have to walk in rain or snow. The common areas and grounds are immaculate and upkeep is ongoing. Our carpet is shampooed, deck is power washed, windows are washed, housekeeping is every other week; what is not to LOVE? We never have to leave for anything unless we want to leave. On site, there is a chapel, clinic, libraries, hair salon, market, game rooms, veterans room, 24/7 security, fitness room with inside pool, lounge/dining room/grill; amenities too numerous to list. A resident can be as active and social as desired or can go home to their apartment and close the door. Pets are allowed. Residents help each other when needed. The atmosphere is friendly, caring and loving among residents and employees. Meramec Bluffs is a beautiful, peaceful, active community and a perfect retirement home!

I love living at MB. Like living in an all exclusive resort. Your wants and wishes are always taken in consideration. Staff thinks of residents as family.

My wife and I could not be happier we chose to move to Meramec Bluffs. Every aspect of it is near perfect. We love the facility, the other residents and the wonderful staff - the employees are extremely helpful and accommodating. There are nearly endless opportunities for play, relax, local bus transportation, volunteer service and entertainment. Best move ever!

My husband was in the care center for 2 1/2 years before he passed away in July. I live in independent living and moved in approximately three years ago after I placed my husband here. I really found the continuum of care that they have here at Meremac Bluffs invaluable as far as taking care of my husband and taking care of me. They not only gave him care and support but they did the same for me.

We wished that she could stay there but there was no room. They had the most incredible people working there, that I have seen in my life. I wasn't thrilled about the dining situation, but the staff was just amazing! There was not one person on their staff that I was not in love with. Their receptionist was great and personable, she was just what I needed at the time and always greeted me with a hug and would come out from behind her desk to talk to me. They treated her like a queen. They went above and beyond to take care of her.
