My mother has been living at Cedarhurst of Des for six months now, and all I can say is that the experience has been nothing short of amazing! My Mom is doing so much better than she was living in her home. The staff is attentive and caring. Mom loves the food and stays busy with the various activities. Her favorites are the Happy Hours and Bingo. Her apartment is cleaned and laundry is done on specific days. The head nurse is very responsive when we have questions. I'll experience was friendly and very professional cleanliness was the number one priority and the place was spotless, friendly staff made check in even more appealing. Not able to have activities or meals but I'm sure everything would have been fine we'll enjoy staying here next time I'm through this area. If the opportunity presents itself we would recommend the Cedarhurst of Des Peres community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I was not a fan of the community and it felt very outdated.
I toured this community and really liked it. It was our second choice. Everyone here was very friendly. Cleanliness was really good. My loved one didn't end up qualifying for level of care needs, but if she had we probably would have chosen this facility.
The management and staff is very caring. Often they are understaffed, and short of housekeeping. It would be nice if they could clean the rooms more often, because sometimes there is an odor in my loved ones room.

Our tour at Cedarhurst of Des Peres was great. They were definitely in the running when we were looking at places. Unfortunately they were going through some renovations and staffing issues. So we chose not to go there based on challenges we had experienced at other communities that were in similar situations.
I would recommend this community for your loved one. They have activities like physical therapy games and more for the residents to do. They even have books for us to read. They even read aloud which is real good for some of the people. They also go out in the bus to different places in the community. They have religious services also.

It has been a bit of an up and down experience lately, they have recently had a change over in staff but we are working on communication. We really like that they actually work with our schedule and what we needed.

Right after my loved one moved in the head nurse quit and the executive director ended up getting COVID. I don't think they were a well equipped staff to run the community. The family liason, I believe they were inc harge of the community. I don't feel this person is there anymore. I spoke to the director after we left and after they returned. I think if the director had been there, it would have been run differently. We were able to have virtual visits, I couldn't see much. I wasn't able to visit in person. When my loved one first moved in they were allowing in person visits; however, this quickly changed due to the case count of COVID in the outside community.

They sold me on the great product but when I got my dad in here it was not what they said it was going to be and they did not care. No body abused my dad physically, but they acted like they did not care and did not have a clue what memory care was about. Communication between the staff was not good either. I did not like the place at all and I would not recommend.

I was able to have an in person tour of this facility. It is a charming place, clean and new feeling. Pricing a bit high, and it is small - which could mean not as many friendship opportunities for dad. My dad likes to walk and there is not much in the way of walking trails near the place. It is still a possibility...would need to get a better than currently quoted price for the one bedroom option.

This is a lovely place with a holistic approach to senior living. I love the thought of all levels of cognitive ability interacting. The facility is fresh and people were everywhere interacting. Pricing is all inclusive based upon room type, no changes based upon levels of care. This is a top notch facility!

Provision Living at West County is a gorgeous place. The atmosphere is very calm and pleasant. It is very clean and well-kept. All of the staff that I have come into contact with are wonderful and very professional. The food they offer is excellent, I have dined here often with my parents. They provide a wide variety of healthy choices but be prepared to wait if you order something other than the meal planned. You could wait up to a half hour for your meal, even if it's a cheese sandwich. There are plenty of activities that the staff encourages the residents to participate. My dad's room is beautiful, it has a view of the courtyard where they have BBQ,s, and activities outside. I would highly recommend this community to others.

Accommodations are beautiful. Difficult to decide, since it is brand new and no one had moved in yet. We absolutely loved the court yard. Concerned about the layout for rooms with a shared bathroom since people with memory issues can wander at night. No one would know that the person was wandering into the other persons room and possibly disturbing their sleep. Rooms are small, but the rest of the facility is beautiful. Unable to meet employees and see the facility being used.
