Springvale Assisted Living and Memory Care

Springvale was friendly, tour was informative, community was also very clean. Overall I had a very good experience.

Beautiful building, very kind staff, residents are happy and staff interact with residents. Spacious apartments for a great price. Multiple courtyards to enjoy the outside weather. Management is present and follows up with any questions or concerns. Life enrichment outings, activities and community events.

Springvale is a great assisted living home. The Staff is amazing and super kind and gentle. The facilities are very clean and fairly well kept up. The only negative we have with Springvale is the food. It is very institutionalized and not presented in a very nice way to the guest. Often the food lacks seasoning and/or not enough sauces or gravy to make the food taste good. They have good variety of foods, so their menus read as though the foods will be great, however their execution of making the food and presenting it to the guest lets us down each time.

This place is amazing, very caring staff, management is present and helpful, very large apartments, beautiful courtyards. They have a raised garden in the back and everyone loves it! The food is good and the dessert are yummy! Your even allowed to bring your animals. Highly recommend this place.

The facility is a great place, very clean and modern. The staff was generally very friendly and did a great job taking care of my Grandpa. I would have to say the only negative is the price. And it's very expensive, but all assisted livings are. However, they did give a Decent amount for the money. They truly made it known they cared a lot about my Grandpa and his care.

We chose Springvale because the facility is modern, Higher ceilings, wider hallways more ambient light than other places we looked at. Their communication with family is awesome. Hospice works well with Springvale staff.

We cannot rate the activities because my brother does not choose to participate in group activities and we cannot rate the value for cost because I am not involved with the cost of my brothers care. However based on the experience we have had, we would recommend Springvale community to other families.

Springvale Assisted living has a warming environment, care staff are kind and caring, the building is beautiful and management are present. They have a new Life Enrichment Manager, resident are very active and attend outings.

Be careful!! Our Mom moved into Springvale in September. Less than 3 months later we received a notice of rent increase- of nearly 15%! This left barely a week to make a decision because we had to give a months notice, and knowing that moving would have to be over the holidays. After agonizing for the week, the stress making her ill, my mom decided to move. Springvale is already the most expensive facility in the area, and the extra $ considering the level of service was not worth it. After I sent in our 30 day notice to move her before [date removed], management then tried negotiating with my mom, not once but multiple times dropping the price trying to get her stay, causing added stress. (She is 93 years old) Keep in mind, when you move in, you pay several thousand dollars in NON-REFUNDABLE fees.. so in essence, besides the rent, threw away thousands of extra dollars to stay there a few months. Security is very good. Someone lets you in and out. No shortcuts . Place is always clean. Meals are great Staff is friendly. Visits from nurse every other week and more as needed. [name removed] does not participate in any activities . He is a very private person. The overall value for cost is hard to rate as we do not see the billing. The Management is very present. Staff is friendly and efficient. I am greeted each time I arrive. [name removed] has Parkinson's and has been able to have his meals in his room which allows him to enjoy them better than if he was forced to sit in the dining room. He has scheduled shower days and laundry days.

Springvale has made amazing progress and staff are extremely caring and truly love the resident's that live there. We get multiple compliments not only from family, but vendors that come into the community. Springvale has monthly outings, activities for all residents, a beauty shop, beautiful courtyard and even raised gardens with vegetables the Chef uses for meals.

This community has really improved with the new management team in place. Residents have a garden in the court yard, they have monthly outings in the community, food is delicious, and residents are very happy.

The care at Springvale has been up and down over the years. Mostly the care has been very good and presently it is at a high level. Appointing a director of Memory Care has helped immensely. Numerous price increases are very difficult for people on fixed incomes.

Springvale Assisted Living is a wonderful place. My mother is very comfortable here and the staff is so sweet to her. My only criticism is the phone system. I highly recommend the facility as a place that you can trust.

We as a family find Springvale very clean, efficient, professional, and very friendly. They address issues on time and keep us informed. The parent loves the accommodations.

Springvale is a clean, safe, organized assisted living. The care is accommodating to my needs. The food is good. The rooms are nice size and feels like home. Having my meds in my room is big for me. (Great).

I visit my father and see him happy, he likes his meals, is more active in the community than what he was at home, has meet some new friends, he feels safe here, my brother visits weekly. My father likes the entertainment as well.

Everyone has been wonderful i live here with my dog, we walk around and he sits with me in the living room. I have made alot of new friends. The building is very pretty and my room is very nice. I'm very happy here
