Landings of Genesee Valley

The current staff at the landings have excellent communication and work together as a well oiled machine. They are kind, knowledgeable & compassionate. Personally all around a positive experience I would highly recommend The Landings of Geneses Valley

Landings offer spacious, clean, and quiet apartments. A variety of activities are offered but your privacy is respected. friendly. and helpful and there is a quick response time if you need assistance. Three nutritious meals served daily with good variety. A pleasant place to call home.

My father in law was moved here from (name removed). Here he has been receiving very good care. All staff members have been so friendly and eager to help. They check in on him often and he likes the meals they provide.

Your admin staff was very open to the idea of the Department of Veterans Services from Genesee County coming in and thanking the Veterans in your community. Your community was clean, and friendly. We could tell your residents are well cared for.

My Mother was a resident for approx 1 month. We were told she would be checked on every 2 hours. Was visiting & no one came in the 3 hr period I was there. She sat in wet and dirty diapers & developed an UTI infection. We repeatedly asked that they sit her up straight to eat her meals and finally put a note on the wall. They just walked in and put her meals on the tray and walked out. She never once ate in the dining room. No one encouraged her to go. Asked repeatedly for the floor to be cleaned due to her leaking urine on the floor through her diaper. Were told housekeeping was done once a week. We cleaned the floors ourselves. My Father said only one of the aides ever acknowledged him when visiting. Only received lip service to our concerns. She is now thriving in the new facility. She is excited to go to the dining room for every meal. The staff visit with her and check her EVERY 2 hrs. Only thing good about the Landings is it is a beautiful facility

I was eagerly planning to move my mom into the Landings (due to close proximity to my residence) and had been waiting approximately three months for a particular room to be vacated and renovated. (They extended the date of taking occupancy twice). The day of signing the lease papers, I was notified that they were changing from an all-inclusive rate to a level pay rate. I had numerous verbal conversations with agreements and notes on the monthly amount for a two year lease, but at the last minute, they pulled a bait-and-switch. I want to caution interested parties to get discussions/conversations in writing before making the final decision/commitment.

It takes love caring patience & kindness to care for the residents. Landings has it all. Thank you all so much for all you do. . My loved one is happy and smiles every day and this makes me happy. Thank you landings of Genesee valley in flint. 10/15/21

My loved one been at landings 2 yrs. The staff to the aides to the kitchen staff all go above and beyond . It takes special people with love compassion, patience and kindness . landings has it all. . My loved one is in the memory blg. And always happy and smiling and this makes me happy. Thank you all so much

I visited a friend at the Landings and I was extremely impressed. Upon entering the community I was welcomed by very friendly staff. I am very satisfied with how my friend is being taken care of, and I would highly recommend this community to others.

As an employee at The Landings I can contest that this community is a wonderful spot to age in place. Not only do I highly recommend to come join our team, I highly recommend anyone looking to relocate their residence to come join our family. You will absolutely be more than satisfied.
