They have been very friendly and accommodating. They have worked with my sister to make sure her individuals needs are met on an ongoing basis!

I would recommend to a family or friend. I would. It is small so Mom, gets a lot of personalized attention.

Plantation Manor has exceeded our expectations. When we were trying to figure this all out, I toured about seven facilities. There were a couple that I really liked. But what led me to select Plantation Manor was the warm feeling that I got from the time I walked in the door. It was just a different feeling than I got at the other places, and that was the real differentiator for us. That, and the fact that the cost was incredibly reasonable. We're getting a little bit more for the money we're spending. Laundry service is included on a weekly basis. They pick up the dirty laundry, wash and dry it, fold it, and bring it back to the residents. And medication administration is also included in the monthly cost. They are providing excellent care to my loved one, and it has been a great choice for our family.

Our family had been very pleased with Plantation Manor, they have done a great job. The staff members and residents are very helpful to one another and they always check on one another. The management has been very helpful and always checking on the residents. They also have plenty of activities for the residents to enjoy.

They do pretty good. They have done everything well so far and meet the needs of my loved one. It was close and it was a perfect fit. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

We picked this community, because of location and price. They provide support and direction for families, they care about their residents, and communicate very well with families.

Cleanliness is a major factor here and so is the friendliness of the personnel and staff. They have a great cook, the food is excellent. It doesn't matter when you show up, the food is great and the community is always clean. Someone could drop something and it's immediately picked up. The staff are always inquiring if a resident is thirsty or wants a snack. Things here are better than good, and better than great. I liked the place my mom was at before, but it was nothing like Plantation Manor.

We are very pleased with this community. We were happy from the first time that we walked in and we still are. The staff are concerned about the residents, they are nice to them and friendly and they all seem to care.

I love this place - it's excellent. I've been very, very impressed with the facility. The director has been fantastic. You couldn't ask for a better person to work with. I've found everybody there to be very caring and considerate. The staff always let me know what's going on with my loved one, which I appreciate living out of state. My loved one is always clean and in great shape. Anyplace I've been inside, it's been clean. The people there are always happy and smiling. There are no care level increases, so the rate you move in with is the rate you pay. And they're very reasonable. It's been the best choice I've made. My only issue is I need my loved one to be closer to me, and I wish I could just pick up Plantation Manor and transplant them to the area where I need him to be!

It is an older facility, but they do keep it clean. Our friend that was there said the meals were good, we do know they offered activities with an activity schedule and they had a good walking area. They did have planned activities for them, and movie nights. We were able to see our friends room it was modest and clean and the people were friendly. I would recommend them to anybody. The lady who is the administrator for assisted living for building A and B, promised to care for our loved and take care of him and that is exactly what they did.

No care services are part of the retirement apartments' amenities since we live independently. However, there is always someone on site for emergencies. Right now we are self-quarentine due to COVID-19 outbreak. As related to activities, I expect things will return to normal eventually. This is an excellent, safe place to live!

My husband is a relatively new resident at the Specialty Care Assisted Living Facility at Plantation Manor and I am very happy with the quality of care he is receiving. As a patient with Dementia with Lewy Bodies he has very special and often-changing needs. The caregivers are wonderful, understanding, and patient while being efficient and loving. He is comfortable and feels as much at home as he did when he was at home. It is often difficult to find the right fit in Assisted Living but I am sure that we have found it!

So far all is going really well.

We are very pleased with the care and the facility mom is in. The value is great and much better than the one she was in before. We are comfortable with her care as the staff really cares for the patients and keep us informed as to what's going on. The staff is friendly and the DOA is fantastic! Mom enjoys the activities and finds them engaging. I've had two request I ask for that has not been met and they have had time to do so. That's why I'm giving a 4 1/2 rating where as if it had been done they would have got a 5. It's nothing of great importance and does not effect the care she received it's the principal of the matter. Her room is always clean and neat, the bathroom is clean and her clothes are clean and hung up. She is clean as well. We are very pleased.

If I could give less than 1 I would. [Name removed], the representative was a no show at her office. We arrived and were told she had to leave unexpectedly but were not contacted to notify me. Upon arrival noticed pee pad on the floor in the main room/lobby and smelled quite a bit. Were told then that [name removed] would be contacting us to reschedule as soon as possible, but as of 11:00 AM the following day- no call or contact. An indication of the care our lives one would receive? I believe it is apparent that at the very least unprofessional. Not rescheduling.

After visiting every nursing home within a 40 mile radius of Columbiana, I chose Plantation Manor for my brother due to the guality of life for residents promoted by the staff. There are multiple volunteer organizations which visit weekly to play music and sing with the residents. There is a weekly Christian Sunday service that is well attended. The staff make a real effort to engage the residents in things requiring their participation. Many staff members have worked there for many years. My brother says he likes it there! He has been there 5 months and I would make the same choice again. [Name removed]

My mother is a Dementia patient. Both the memory care unit was excellent as is the nursing home portion. The ladies are patient, kind, attentive, and truly care for there patients. They will never know how much I appreciate the kindness shown to my mom and other patients. I have had her in newer fancier places that were awful and such angry attitudes. The sweet people at plantation manor have been the best care I could have ask for. Thank you [name removed] and family

I think this place is wonderful especially for people with memory loss.I’ve heard people say a person may not remember their family but they do remember songs. My mother’s husband died and his son and daughter in law found this place. My Mother was kicked out of one home within a few hours and in this place I only see peace in her. She sings songs that she sang years ago. I walked in her bathroom and it’s spotless like she kept our home as I was growing up. I can visit her in a sweet place where she has found contentment. I’m thankful for Plantation Manor and for [names removed]. I couldn’t make her do anything but somehow they did with Plantation Manor. The people that work there are so kind. I saw one dancing with one of the ladies to Buddy Holly music. On Thursday a lady told me they sing Old Gospel Hymns too. I had put her name in some clothes I got her. The lady told me they wash each persons laundry separate so now I don’t have to write in clothes. One day if I lose my memory I would like to go there because it’s clean and fun place with music!!

My Aunt has been in Plantation Manor for over a year now. They were so great when she was admitted. My wife and I was impressed by the number of staff members clearly visible. Her dad had been in another nursing home and often when we went to see him there were hardly any staff to be seen. This is a locally privately owned nursing home not run by some corporation out to have higher profits. The administrator was also local having grown up in the area. He had even cut the grass of the home when he was a teen-ager. My aunt has been treated well there and I don't think I could ask for any better care anywhere. She actually gained some weight, which was needed, after she became a resident.
