I recently had the pleasure of touring Peoples Senior Living, and I couldn't be more impressed with both the facility and the experience as a whole. From the moment I walked through the door, I could feel the warmth and care that radiates throughout the building. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and took the time to answer all my questions, making me feel completely at ease. The facility itself is beautiful and well-maintained. The common areas are bright, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light. I left the tour feeling truly inspired and reassured that Peoples Senior Living would be an amazing place for someone to live.

I came in to tour this location for my mom and we were so impressed with the staff and the building. The administrator was welcoming and answered all our questions and concerns. The other staff were equally as welcoming and everyone had a smile on their face.

1 and 2 bedroom apartments are spacious and large, i was surprised by this! They did a major community-volunteer remodel i was a part of, and wow, what an amazing group of employees and community to invest with love, time, and money.

I recently toured Peoples Senior Living and was very impressed. The staff were friendly and genuinely caring, making it clear that they prioritize the well-being of the residents. The facility itself is bright and welcoming, with plenty of common areas for socializing and activities that cater to various interests. I noticed how residents were engaged and happy, which gave me confidence that my parents would thrive here. The dining options looked great, too! Overall, Peoples seems like a wonderful place for my parents, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for assisted living.

Wow… what a save by the staff at People’s Senior Living. My friend absolutely loves the friendly staff and yummy food but especially knowing she’ll get assistance with her care when she needs it. Being greeted by the friendly receptionist is the best. I always look forward to my visits!

I spend quite a bit of time on this campus visiting people. I'm always impressed by the friendly vibe and comfortable environment. It feels like the culture is good. I know that there was new ownership in mid-2023 and I like the improvements and upgrades they are starting to implement.

Safety net provider with a heart! They have a mission to serve those who need assisted living at a more affordable price. I witness them coming up with creative ways to support seniors in new ways often. They are a model for the community.

Having visited numerous assisted living communities, Peoples stands out consistently due to the heartfelt compassion exhibited by its staff toward every resident. This community defines family and friendship. Moreover, since the community has come under new local ownership, the changes have been nothing short of remarkable. The recent renovations reflect the love and passion invested in the care of each person. The upgrades not only enhance the physical spaces but also contribute to the overall well-being and comfort of the residents. The activities are incredible! [name removed] does a phenomenal job planning engaging activities whether it's bingo, manicure day, or live entertainment almost weekly. It is truly wonderful to see such dedication to continuous improvements in a place that already exudes warmth and care.

Everything has gone well in the last month since my family member moved in. She seems to be adjusting well she is going to activities that are offered and seems to be making friends. The staff overall is encouraging and nice very positive environment. She seems to be liking the food. Housekeeping is doing a good job keeping things clean and orderly. I would recommend them if asked.

Though my loved one had just a short stay at Peoples Retirement Community, everything went just fine! We have no complaints in that aspect of her stay. Our primary concern, however, is the fact that our funding fell through when the financial office reassured us that it would not.

We had a horrible experience after moving my father into this community. After he moved out, a lady called and said she needs billing address to send the bill because someone needs to pay for this. My mom asked how much it was going to cost and she said: "I'm not calling to discuss the bill amount, I need the address to send the bill to". I spoke up and asked her to answer mom and she said "Your daughter isn't right, I'll call back when she isn't there" and hung up. She then tried to sell an Assisted Living room to mom and told her that I wasn't welcome in the building. In the room, there were dirty clothes on dresser and floor for two days that weren't my father's. They told my mom that she needed to buy a new bed, then said they would get one from storage.

My father lived at Peoples place for about one week. He was in the memory care unit. He took a shower by himself one night and fell two times in the tub. He managed to drag himself through two doors to the hallway where an employee found him on the floor. They called to say he bumped his head and was being monitored for blood pressure for twenty four hours because that was all the responsibility they were required to provide by law. I went to see him. He asked me to take him to urgent care because he was in so much pain and they were not addressing it. I took him to the emergency room at Tacoma General hospital. Soon the hospital social service rep. approached me with her concern that if I did not file a report they would do this to someone else. His entire right side was black and blue by his injury. They did not tell me because the nurse did not check him for his injury. They said that was all they were required to do. He had seven broken ribs and his right lung was coalapsed. he spent about one month in the hospital. If [removed]. We paid for the time he was there and they also kept the nonrefundable deposit of $1500.00. How can they treat people this way? The last time I wrote a review it was not here when I came back to read it.

I have been reading some of these comments and am really surprised to read some of the negative reviews. My Mom has lived at Peoples Retirement Community for over 2 years and she just loves it there. The food is excellent. The caregivers are amazing and heartfelt and she goes to exercise class each morning. I would reccommend Peoples to anyone looking for senior living.

My mom lived here for 10 months. The only perk was the size of her apartment. She hated the food, activities are limited, and many issues with care. I called and had to come in many times to talk to nurses about my mother's care. It seemed like they could never get it right. The place smells and needs updating. Try to avoid this place for your loved one. My mom has moved and she loves where she is now,

A Place for Mom has scored Peoples Retirement Community 9.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
