I like it I think it’s a good community. There are many pros here, and only one con that I can even see there are libraries and classes trips and Theatre the office has treated me kindly I like it my only con is the laundry room. They don’t have enough of them. They are too far away and they are not working properly. I didn’t know that when I came had I known, I probably would’ve made a different decision because the laundry facilities was number one on my list of things I had to have in order to move somewhere. I would not have moved here. Had I known the laundry were so bad they are not enough of them and if you go to the B building. There’s not even one over there at all and only one in every area, only 2 in the whole building For everyone and they don’t work properly they take your money. It’s too bad because other than that it’s a great place. Had I known what the facilities was it would’ve been a dealbreaker. I really hope they correct that if they do it would be good.... Read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to others. I'm in the process of looking for a new place. My additional comment is that I'm looking forward to moving.

I wouldn't refer anyone there; they had a horrible bed bug infestation and it took them forever to get the right type of exterminators out to treat the problem! Also, during the coldest part/week of the winter; the heat was out for a full week and all they said to the residents was they can buy space heaters for their apartments, they did not compensate them in any way for these major issues!! They are the worse!!! Please don't refer any other seniors to that place!!!!

She was happy with the activities but this was not worth the cost and I would not recommend this place in a million years. It's not clean, trash in hallway and overflowing garbage in dumpsters all around the property, they have bed bugs in several units, staff is not friendly, she doesn't use care services and wouldn't use them if we had to.

The building residents are very friendly. There are some building connectivity issues with the internet. The buildings front office provides easy access to residents for food delivery, and other service providers during business hours. I liked the fact that the utilities are included although the thermostat just allows you to adjust the heat from high to low, to off. There is no temperature control for heat or A/C.. This is still a big savings. The location of building was central. The maintenance team has been very prompt in responding to concerns when the complaint is filed online.

Needs more security, staff and better house keeping. We picked this community because of the cost, and it was close to me.

The staff and the atmosphere were welcoming. The 1st floor was enticing. Nails & hairdresser in residence. Food services in-house with payment. I would tell a friend to do more research. Security is very important, and none is provided. These apartments are very pricey.

When it comes to the meals and medication, they were often late due to the staffing shortages. The people in assisted care however respond to requests quickly for most of the time. Based on our experience so far we would recommend the Park at Franklin community to other families.

The staff was friendly and sincerely interested in the well-being of their residents. I appreciated how they worked together with the family as a team. The appearance and cleanliness of the building definitely captured my attention. It was very peaceful.

We toured Park at Franklin and it was a good facility. The tour was very pleasant. The cleanliness of the facility was good. The friendliness was good, also.
I toured this community and everything was good. Cleanliness and friendliness were good, also!
They were very friendly when moving in . Once the lease was signed, never could get anyone to answer the phones. My loved one was in assisted living. Had to go to hospital. When she was returned there was no one there to let her in. She had to go back to the hospital. Until the next morning. I live out of town, and couldn’t bring her back. Once we weren’t happy had to jump through hoops to get out of the lease. Have to get something from doctors stating she can not be alone, which she was in assisted living which made no sense. Hopefully the new management team will do better

Response from Park at Franklin
February 2, 2023Hello! My name is Duy and I am the Director of Marketing over Park at Franklin. I am part of the new management team that has taken over the property. I am sorry to hear about the challenges and lack of communication that you encountered. I am more than happy to speak to you more about this and see what we can do to make this right. If you reach out to our Central Office directly, they will connect you to me and I would be grateful to learn more about your experience so we can improve. Thank you.
Per all my ratings above, this is a great place. I visited four different places and just kept coming back to Park at Franklin. I I liked the brightness and friendliness of the community, and I liked the ease of them showing me things and answering questions. That was very impressive to me. The apartments are very roomy, with lots of storage. My loved one has four big closets, when most places had one, maybe two. You get a lot of bang for your buck - they offer a lot for the price. I would highly recommend them!

Only the main building/entrance seems to be maintained. Other buildings/entrances lack the same maintenance and cleanliness, specifically building B. Once the sales team signed the lease, it was VERY difficult to get ahold of anyone for problems. I’ve noticed many of the reviews refer to “The Fountains.” Be aware there is a new management company with a seemingly different standard. We were making plans to move my family member out the same day we were moving in. She was only there for 2 weeks (in assisted living). Upon moving out, we noticed roaches. The staff seemed unsurprised when we mentioned it. The hall has new carpet and paint, but the conditions are still dirty.

We went with Park at Franklin because of the convenient location and also the manager was very thorough in explaining everything to me and I appreciated that - it was not like she was trying to hide anything. I would recommend the facility to others looking.

When we came for our tour they were in the middle of renovations so it was going to look very nice once they were all done. For us the apartments were too small and it was just not the right fit for what we were looking for.
This has been a good experience for me at Park at Franklin. The staff at the front office is really friendly to work with. There is movie day, popcorn day, trips to the store, exercises classes, live music, and more for activities for the residents to choose from. They even provide a calendar of activities to the residents. The apartment I have is good for me and there is even a terrace on some of the apartments. I don't care for the fact that the staff will just come into your apartment unannounced. There is new management so we will see if this will change.

A Place for Mom has scored Park at Franklin 7.8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
