I would recommend Paramount Senior Living to those who are looking. the memory care unit is not in the same building, but the dining room is communal. so some memory care residents get to come over and eat with the assisted living side. the only thing my sister doesn't like is the fixed menu everyday, it's not ala carte. so there are some days she doesn't like what's being served. aside from that, they have a weekly email about any community updates - how many staff/residents have Covid, etc. they provide transportation to doctor appointments, grocery stores, pharmacy runs, and other errands. outside of the outings, they have activities like crafts, games, and Friday night happy hour socials.... Not good leadership of building- take too many breaks In the last several months this building has gone down hill. Residents are kind and can tell you a lot about the staff and management. They lie to get you to come there and then raise prices

The staff here is great and they provide amazing and numerous events and activities for their residents. They are very caring and the facilities are nice. Even though I don't have knowledge about the meals or the cost, I can speak to the friendliness of the staff and how wonderfully they engage with the residents after attending events here. My son provided entertainment/ education for an event.

I would advise others to go somewhere else. We moved my father into Paramount in March and we received a letter a few weeks ago that they're closing. They built a brand new facility down the road and said they'd have room for everyone, but they didn't. So because of that, we had to move elsewhere. I also paid for the month of May and I'm currently fighting to get my community fee back and the May payment back.

Our tour at Paramount was fine. But I felt their sales person was a little pushy.
I would recommend Paramount Senior Living to those who are looking. the memory care unit is not in the same building, but the dining room is communal. so some memory care residents get to come over and eat with the assisted living side. the only thing my sister doesn't like is the fixed menu everyday, it's not ala carte. so there are some days she doesn't like what's being served. aside from that, they have a weekly email about any community updates - how many staff/residents have Covid, etc. they provide transportation to doctor appointments, grocery stores, pharmacy runs, and other errands. outside of the outings, they have activities like crafts, games, and Friday night happy hour socials.

We chose Paramount Senior Living because it was smaller facility that is very clean and is seems like they try to make it very home like rather than institutional. The dining area is more like a dining room you would sit in at home instead of a cafeteria. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

I was not overly impressed. The facility is older and not as up to date as some others we saw.
I thought Paramount at Westerville was old and run down, with dreary colors. And the living spaces were very limited for what you would pay.
Our loved one was only there for about 2 weeks for respite care, but we had a good experience with the staff members. We can't speak to the quality of the meals because our loved one was on a liquid diet and the staff were always very concerned and accommodating when it came to liquefying and pureeing her meals. The value for cost was excellent.

The new director is sending email newsletters to keep everyone updated on what they are doing and what is new, so far she has been great with communication. I think it would be nice if they could include the activities schedule in those newsletters as well so residents and families know when to schedule appointments so they do not overlap. They do have a lot of activities going on and they have a good variety of things to do. They are testing all of the residents for covid and I really like that. It is a smaller facility and they encourage residents to get out of their room. I would recommend to others looking and already have, my father is very happy.

If you are planning on putting your loved one in here, make sure you get all of the information on them up front. Things got changed when I went to actually place her in the facility price wise. I would recommend to others looking.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. The staff was very friendly and they provided lots of information to us. Th community was very nice and I would recommend it.
The community is a good value and less expensive than other communities. The overall staff was excellent but the professionalism of the medical staff is not what it should be. We had an issue with the community returning our security deposit and it took 6 months to receive it.

The administrative team keeps changing. With the pandemic it slowed down and they no longer want to go back to the ways prior. It is hard to get a hold of the residents.

Paramount has been a safe haven for my mother since she moved in several years ago. The rooms are spacious and have windows with lovely views for residents to admire. The staff, particularly the nurses and RAs, are gentle and patient and it has been a pleasure to get to know everyone whenever I visit. Everyone on staff is kind and compassionate and truly enjoy being with the residents, making them feel safe and happy. My mother tells me regularly how much she adores the staff and the staff regularly tells me what a pleasure it is to care for my mother and tell me little stories of her throughout the day. Activities range from Bingo to sing-alongs, chair exercises to holiday crafts. Day trips have been offered as well (walks at the park, Christmas light viewing) as well as support group meetings for caregiving families and additional therapy sessions (occupational, speech and physical). I cannot express my depths of my gratitude for Paramount for keeping my mother safe and happy prior to COVID-19 and for keeping her safe, healthy and happy during the pandemic. I still speak with her every day and meetings and Zoom calls are scheduled so families can see their loved ones regularly. She tells me daily how wonderful everyone at Paramount is and how happy she is being there.

The community is great, and I would recommend them for your loved one. I have seen over the last couple years on how well the staff take care of my loved one. The community is willing to assist my loved one with making sure they have the food they enjoy the most.

Paramount senior living is doing the best they can under these terrible circumstances. I feel for these lonely people who are so isolated. However, I know this is an effort to protect these same vulnerable people and I know everyone on staff is trying to make sure the residents are still being kept in contact with loved ones and special days like birthdays are not overlooked. My father tells me every day that he is well taken care of. That’s the best review anyone can get!
