Palos Verdes Villa

THIS FACILITY WAS A GODSEND. THE OWNER AND STAFF ARE EXCEPTIONALLY CARING. I FEEL COMFORTABLE GOING THERE AND VISITING AS MY FAMILY, IF THIS WERE AN EXTENSION OF MY NEPHEW IS EXTREMELY HAPPY!

The staff is very helpful and take good care of residents. I enjoy living in Palos Verdes Villa.

We placed my mom in this facility a couple of months ago. She loves it! The people (staff and residents) are so friendly and warm. My mom had trouble making friends at her last facility. When she came to Palos Verdes Villa, she made friends with people right away and she’s thriving! It is a little pricy, but the area is very nice. My mom likes the food there too (better than the last place). My mom is very happy at this place and I really recommend it!

I have a family member who lives at Palos Verdes Villa. The staff have been nothing but kind, very accommodating, above and beyond. I've found them generous, responsive, and unbelievably hard-working. The facility itself I found clean, well-maintained, in a nice area next to a large park. I'm hugely grateful knowing my family member is safe, comfortable, well-cared for. My experience with PV Villa has been nothing but positive.

Its a wonderful place to live, the staff is fantastic, [names removed] are great. The food is great. The rooms are great. I highly recommend.

I have been able to going to church and shopping, watching movies and lots of other things to make me happy.

A friend of mine went on the tour, since I was living too far from the Villas. She said I would like it here. So I came sight unseen. I love it here! The staff is the best. There is a lot of activities, games and contests, movies and excursions to local stores. Your room and bathroom are cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Practically every need is taken care of. Food is good. Residents are friendly. We also have a beautiful patio to enjoy the warm weather. This is Paradise!

I was looking for a place for my friend to live after he had bypass surgery as his previous place no longer wanted him to reside there. I went to the PV Villa and spoke with the Administrative Director. He went to visit him in the hospital and was accepted with open arms. The staff have been exceptional in Ray’s care and he is thriving. The entire staff are very attentive to his needs and I feel relief knowing that they care about him just as much as I do. He has made many new friends and enjoys living here. I am greeted warmly when I visit and relieved that he has a forever home.

Palos Verdes is just the right fit for my dad. My siblings and I could not be more grateful for the service and care he receives in Palos Verdes Villa. [name removed] and his staff are kind, caring, and attentive to the needs of every member of the home. My dad especially appreciates the tasty food and the independence he feels in Pallos Verdes villa. We highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a place to trust to care for a loved one.

This is a family owned community. No big corporate level policies and or corporate fees, just a straight forward community that wants to do the right thing. Each time I visit I notice it again and again. Like there’s no excuses of corporate policy etc. Have an issue, the owner is right there and resolves it with you.

Palos verdes villa is a place that you’ll feel at home in. The staff are really welcoming and warm. Food and ambiance is great. Building has beautiful views and is well taken care of. You will feel well taken care of physically and emotionally.

My brother recently moved into Palos Verdes Villa and it has been a blessing for him and our family. He was in declining health and has been improving steadily since he became a resident. All of the staff are so kind and helpful. The nurses and caretakers are helping him with his diabetes management which has helped tremendously. We are so happy he is living in such a wonderful place!

My mother lived at the Villa for the past 9 years. She made friends and considered it her home. The staff treated her like their Mom. At the end, she needed alot more care and the staff went above and beyond the call of duty. I was there quite often and I was always amazed by the positive energy at the Villa.

My Aunt has lived at Palos Verdes Villa for three years and she absolutely loves it. The staff are caring and attentive and the Villa feels warm and homey. She especially enjoys the many activities that keep her engaged and socializing with others. She loves the monthly painting classes and yoga classes.

I moved into Palos Verdes Villa 9 years and it doesn't just feel like home- it is my home! The staff is friendly and treat me like family. My needs have changed over the yers and the Villa has adapted to those changes. Care is given with dignity and respect. Activities are great! We had a Luau last week that was fabulous. The food is great and the kitchen always has different options available. Administration is hands on- very easy to contact and get things done. You or your loved one will love it here!

I helped my sister move into PV Villa in May . One of the most difficult things to do is find a good place for loved ones when either medical issues or advanced age has brought them complications that can no longer be managed by themselves. We were looking for a nice location that offered responsible oversight, proper care, a clean environment, and a friendly and loving atmosphere. Also critical was a place that would intrude as little as possible upon a sense of self and independence while providing necessary guide rails. The Directors, Nurses, and Staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and caring. The residents are lovely with a strong sense of comradery and respect for one another. PV Villa stands above and apart in many ways. I read a review that complained about food? Our experience is that the food has been consistently "very good" with significant attention paid to variety and nutrition. We have zero complaints. We are very grateful! Deepest thanks to PV Villa!

Mother had manage to stay at her home with help until she needed to be hospitalized, then a skilled nursing facility. She then moved to Palos Verdes Villa assisted living. We were happy initially but quickly found out that as she needed more assistance the administration started to change. Mothers condition started declining, then the suggestions started about Plan B, specifically Boarding Care. That wasn’t something we would considered. When her provider said that she needed Hospice we agreed due to her condition. It got so bad that the Administration actively tried to have her transferred, one time calling a meeting with us (family), Hospice staff to make their point…we had to listen to administration relate specifics about her being incontinent and other embarrassing details to sad to describe. Hopefully no other patient and families will have to endure this pain during the last few days of your love ones. The first 5 months were good , mother was happy, it became her HOME.

After touring high-end assisted living facilities, my dad chose PV Villa because the vibe was happy, and the residents were friendly. It was close to his home, so this made the transition feel much easier. I wish we had gotten there much sooner as being among other residents and staff enriched his life from being home alone. I can't say enough positive words about the administrator, [name removed]. Her experience makes everything easy and her genuine caring about her residents is from her heart. It's something that any amount of money can't buy. Her staff is well trained and they work hard each day to help make every day for their residents a good and special day. This is an older facility without all the newness of a fancy place, but it is a great home and I recommend their care without hesitation. Thank you Palos Verdes Villas

Wonderful staff-patient and caring.

My sister has been with PV Villa for about 2 years now. She has been the happiest I have seen her, especially after all her health problems. They are very friendly and when she had medical problems they let me know right away and in one instance, saved her life by getting her the help she needed right away. Now that her health has been improving she is active in all the different activities they have daily. She also loves the variety in the different food they offer. During these trying times I am happy she is at PV Villa keeping her safe and engaged. They always give updates on the facilities and what is happening so her family knows she is being kept safe. If you have someone you love that needs extra care or just needs a safe place to live, you should look at PV Villa for their happiness and your peace of mind.
