Most of the staff members were great. The only problems we ever had were with the night shift. If they would have hired more caring staff on the night shift, it may have been a better experience.

Unfortunately, my dad passed away on [date removed]. However, our experience at Morada Cedar Hill was great. They took very good care of my Dad while he was in their care. The facility was in a great location and only 5 minutes from my house. All of the staff were very loving, caring and friendly.

My mother is currently a resident at Morada Cedar Hill Assisted Living and Memory Care. Overall, it is a nice place, but my mother has level two care and regarding those who come to help her with extra care: toilet and shower needs (not the nursing staff), they are often lacking in their response and care.

The staff, admin team and receptionists are all very nice at Morada Cedar Hill Assisted Living and Memory Care. They have a person who cleans the entire room and changes the linens once a week. They communicate with the family very well. Anytime my Dad was not eating well or if they had any other concern, they immediately called to keep me informed. The move in process is simple. You come in and complete the paperwork, leave them a check or give them your debit card for them to use each month for the automatic payment. The pages to read through in order to sign is a lot of pages, maybe around 50ish pages. You furnish the room entirely. We brought the majority of my Dad's furniture from the house so that the room felt familiar and was comfortable for him. We supplied all of the linens (sheets, comforters, pillows, bathroom supplies, hamper etc). For the cost, they should include laundry, under pads and incontinence underwear. They could mop in the outside common area more often because sometimes the floor was sticky from when the residents dropped their juice. But overall, the facility is clean. I would definitely recommend Morada Cedar Hill Assisted Living and Memory Care. They took very good care of my Dad and they really cared about him up until he passed.

My family recently did a tour of the memory care unit for placement of our love one. The front entrance had large soiled spots on the carpet. The white doors to memorial care was filthy and around the pad entry key to the unit was also filthy. We walked into unit and the floor was sticky with each step our shoe was clicking like I had step into a honey factor(just that sticky). The staff was sitting behind the desk and residents were lined up on the couches watching television.

I was really impressed. The staff was matural and handled everything that came up. Dad passed away there in hospice care and they could not have been more caring or kind during that time! l love the employees in the memory care and in the staff.

My father was physically assaulted by a caregiver employed by Morada Memory Care on [date removed]. The employee punched a 76 year old in the eye causing it to swell shut. The facility did not seek medical attention for him and [name removed], the third director in twelve months, stated that she didn’t feel it was serious enough to seek medical attention. Not a single leader of this company has even offered an apology. Several emails remain unanswered. To add insult to a true injury, they followed up two weeks after the incident with an immediate eviction notice (which is against TX state law) on bogus claims signed by Director, [name removed]. This place is a joke. Most of the employees do NOT know how to properly treat or care for dementia/Alzheimer patients. The leadership from President down to the director, has yet to give the full truth of what happened that Saturday evening. The 19 year old employee admitted that he punched my father on account of being bipolar, having anger manag

They will not keep emergency medications for people in hospice. They left my mother without her pain medication for over eight hours, with me contacting them throughout the day. Then expected me to pick up the meds from a pharmacy. They served her cheese on a hamburger bun and cereal for dinner. They consistently ran out of the meal posted on the menu. They claim to have a med tech available 24 hours a day, but there consistently was not one after 10 pm.

My loved one is currently a resident at Morada Cedar Hill Assisted Living and Memory Care. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The housekeeping is good. The facility always smells good and the trash is collected daily. Communication with the family is good, however, they could do a better job of communicating about when refills on medications are needed. The meals are good quality. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

They talk a good talk; great photos; excellent Public Relations--until the lights and cameras go off. If you're looking for expensive warehouse care for your loved one, this is the perfect spot. If you care about what goes on, behind the scenes, keep looking!!!

The community was too crowded for my loved one. The staff wasn't as friendly as I would have thought and for my loved one.
So far everything has been great. We initially chose Morada Cedar Hill because it felt more homey and comfortable. It did not have that clinical feel to it that so many others have. Everyone has been very nice and we have been pleased with the experience. I would definitely recommend this community.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a very good tour experience it was a solid top choice for us but it ended up just being to far from our family.
This was a very nice community and the staff very friendly. The distance was further from family and friends.
Our tour with Morada Cedar Hill was good and the staff were professional. The facility itself was big and had more of a corporate feeling to it and we wanted something more homey. One thing we did not like was a lot of the residents were in their rooms so it was quiet and there was not a whole lot of activity going on. We wanted an active community for our loved one.
It is expensive but the community is good, it has a good set up and its kept very clean. It is easy to make friends here, and the residents are very nice and always willing to help if needed
