Magnola Place is comfortable and well laid-out facility with large, airy, and inviting meeting and activity rooms and dining rooms. The central hallways are always beautifully decorated and the courtyards are also lovely and a nice place to sit in the sunshine. The apartments are thoughtfully planned and perfect in size. All are located around a central, circular hallway; many with courtyard views. The excellent programs and outings contributed so much to my sister’s stay and mental outlook, and the food is delicious. Ask any resident! But the most happily surprising aspect about her stay is the staff! They listen to all of our questions and requests and go out of their way to answer and fulfill them. Their unshakable patience and helpfulness and just genuine kindness impressed us greatly. Many thanks to them.

Pleased so far. Mom had to be moved for special med adjustments shortly after arriving, which was hard. But now she’s back and things seem to be better now because she is no longer angry and having outbursts that make others feel unsafe.

Magnolia Place is a very clean and well organized home.Staff was very helpful and willing to help my dad transition into facility. He liked the activities and he was kept busy and able to socialize. The management team was great and willing to work with me in a difficult move from another facility that lacked staff and had poor security. I highly recommend Magnolia Place

Very pleased with MagnoliaPlace. Very helpful as you and your partner go through this life's challenge. Staff is kind and caring to the residents, and very patient and kind. They always kept me informed about [name removed] condition, and when we needed a circle of life to get involved, they were there to help me through this. Helpful, caring, and kind.

Magnolia Place has been such a blessing for my dad. The staff are always so nice and loving. I love that they call me anytime he needs anything, anything happens, or there is any change in his condition. It’s like having extra siblings to help me take care of my dad so I can still live my life.

Beautiful place and a safe, healthy place when staying at home is no longer an option. The care is good but could use more aids to give closer attention to the residents. It’s not an easy job but more personal attention and cheer would be better.

Not a nice place [name removed] fell 6 times in 2 weeks. All they did was pick him up afterwards. No effort to prevent future falls. They demanded a $[removed] deposit, then kicked him out in a.very short time. They also lost several items of his, and did not return them.

My loved one was previously a resident at Magnolia Place Transitional Assisted Living and Memory Care and the overall experience was okay. The staff was very nice. However, I would not recommend the facility to others nor take my loved one back there.

If the resident has any health issues, the nurses contact the house doctor, and they stay on top of it and notify the caregiver or responsible I dividual right away. You can call anytime to check on your loved one, and they will update you.Very caring, helpful, and always are there for you. The staff is kind and caring, and tries hard to help the individuals the best way to help with the person based on what works best for them (individual ized). It is clean and welcoming and everyone is very friendly. They take the time to listen.

When my parents moved into Magnolia Place the Life Enrichment Director took them under her wing to make their transition as smooth as possible. Magnolia was recommended to me by my parents’ primary care doctor because “the staff are amazing.” He was correct – the staff are extremely well qualified & go above & beyond. The staff were quick to recognize that the personality & needs of my mom differ from that of my dad. The Life Enrichment Team has been especially helpful in ensuring both of my parents stay active & engaged. They earned my mom’s love by giving her a warm blanket just prior to taking her to the Activity Room. My dad enjoys doing puzzles so the Team set up a special table for him to be able to work on puzzles whenever he feels so inclined. The Life Enrichment Director puts together a variety of daily (all 7 days!), creative programming. Recent activities include garden club, petting zoo, & cooking class. Many thanks to the entire Team for their love & compassion.

If you like window dressing without real care, pick this place. We left. The cost does not equate to the value. Hopefully, the staff won’t be too scared to actually care for someone some day. Be prepared to have to remind staff to give medications timely and receive excuses as to why they could not accomplish such a simple task. State regulations are obviously being overlooked here.

What we really like about Magnolia Place is that we are able to bring our grandkids and even our family dog - whenever we come with them the staff and residents get super excited. Our family has been so happy with the experience so far. The meals and dining service is very very good and there are plenty of different activities for our loved one to do. It is expensive but we feel like at the end of the day it is completely worth it. No matter the level of care the residents is as, the staff treats everyone so kind and gentle. There is a hair salon there for the residents to use which was very important to our loved. We have already recommended this community to other families and we will continue to do so.
