We are on our 3rd director and have had significant turnover in housecleaning staff, kitchen staff, and marketing. The new director has been very active and open to the residents. I sense there is difficulty in getting help from corporate headquarters. There are some maintenance issues but we have a relatively new maintenance director who is working hard to support the residents. Overall- We like it here - the residents are great : friendly, helpful to one another and caring.... Read more

Response from Village on the Park Rogers
October 12, 2024Thanks for sharing your thoughts about our community. The entire team at Village on the Park Rogers is working diligently to ensure our residents and their families are enjoying the best possible experience.
My loved one was previously a resident at Village on the Park Rogers and the experience at this facility was terrible for her. They transported my mom to the hospital three times in one day because their staff could not handle mom- they were obviously not trained as well as the staff at some of the other facilities are trained. I would never recommend Village on the Park Rogers.

We cannot rate the quality of care as we are in the independent cottages. Overall what we like the most about Village on the Park Rogers is the friendly people (both the staff members and the other residents). We like the quality housekeeping, the security and most services they offer.

Response from Village on the Park Rogers
March 3, 2023Thank you for your review, Julie! We are so glad you had a positive experience with our staff and community.
My loved one is on the waitlist here for one of the cottages. She likes this facility a lot. She looked at the actual apartments and they were way too small for what she wanted and they did not have any 2 bedrooms, but the cottages are a great size. They did classify her as a fall risk which will be an extra $500 fee if she moves in.
This community was amazing and it just was not total memory care which is what my loved one needed. If my loved one did not need more memory care this community would have for sure been an option.
For the area, this is the best fit for my loved one. The quality, accommodations, safety, security, along with the friendliness of the staff is great. They are struggling like everywhere else with staffing specifically in the dining and food area. The food isn't quite where it could be quality wise. I think that is more due to the lack of staffing. We are very happy with it overall.

We had a good tour with Village on the Park. They have transitioning levels of care but we wanted a facility that was strictly memory care. But after seeing their assisted living I would rate them a 5/5.
We chose Village on the park because it looked like a newer, cleaner facility that was more professional. We were also in a crunch for time and they had availability when we needed it. The staff members here were ok with communication. Overall, I would recommend them to others looking.

A Place for Mom has scored Village on the Park Rogers 7.4 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
