There were multiple weeks in which her room was not cleaned. The would continually have agency nurses and aids in which would not administer her medication timely or miss days. The would lose her eye drops which is critical for her eyesight. The food was not great. Several night a sandwich or hot dogs. For the price she was paying weekly. The food should have been much better.

I placed mom in the memory care unit at Village on the Park in about 2021. It was the best experience for her. She probably spent some of her best years here. The staff fell in love with her and visa versa. I didn't have to worry about her at all, the nurses had my cell and kept me updated. She was also a block away so I saw her several times a month. But that's because I wanted too see her, not because I was concerned about her... at all. She was SO happy. I am an RN, so I would know if she isn't being treated properly. The facility provided daily activities for her, painting, movies in their theater, games... She was treated exactly the way that you would want your family member to treated. My daughter is a licensed social worker who says that VOTP is the best facility in the state of Arkansas. I fully believe that after my mothers stay there for the last 3 years. I have nothing but the best things to say about the entire facility. We never had a bad experience.

It was a great community when my loved one first moved in. Then they were then bought out and things changed. The fees went up drastically. It is a much bigger community than what my loved one needed as well. The community has an 8 pm curfew for the residents. I brought my loved one late and the staff was rude and lectured me about the time. She also locked me into the community. All visitors have to leave at 8 pm, no matter what. The food was served in Styrofoam containers to the residents.

Response from Village on the Park Bentonville
March 3, 2023Hi there- thank you for your feedback. we're sorry you had a less than exceptional experience with our staff and community. We'd love to talk to you about this further. Please reach out to our executive director at (479) 364-0259.
The community is a little pricey but in comparison to where our loved one was previous it is working out better because she has a good nursing staff that is on deck. The meals were good up until about this point and now they have ran out of some essential items and we aren't sure why. Even though our loved one does not participate in the activities we can check on their Facebook website and see everything they have to offer and it seems really good. Based on our experience we would recommend them to other families.

February 23, 2023Hi there! Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you and your loved one have had a good experience with our staff and community.
We had a wonderful tour experience with Village on the Park Bentonville. We actually loved this facility, it was so nice and would have been our first choice if the price were lower.

It's a very nice place. The staff always wants to help. They are observant ,to any changes or things that may not be right physically or mentally. I picked this place because of the avalability, it was fairly new, and the staff worked with my loved one failry well prior to moving in. Overall, they did a good job of evaluating the needs of my loved one.

They've been very easy to work with and accommodating for the move-in. They were helpful in figuring what all we needed. And nursing has been really good with my loved one. Everything has been pretty good. My loved one is not as happy with the food, but I've eaten there and thought it was fine.

We went with Village on The Park because of the convenient location , their availability to get us in quickly at the time and the overall facility was just super nice. The room sizes are very good, she is in a private studio and it is perfect size for her. As far as when we send things we are unsure if she is getting everything we are sending. We would absolutely recommend to others looking for this type of care.

This is one of the best bets in Bentonville. This is the cleanest place. They make sure all residents are accounted for and taken care of each day. Some of the activities include shopping, movie theater, exercise classes, bingo, trivia, and more for the residents to choose from.

The staff members here are top notch they are extremely friendly, and when it comes to the meals everything is always on schedule and very good. They have various activities going on daily, and the value for cost is right in line with other facilities.
The food service here is good, and everyone we have met seems to be very nice and cooperative. It is a little bit of an adjustment moving into smaller sq footage, but so far we are happy with our living quarters. We would recommend the Village on the Park to others.

We chose Village on the Park Bentonville because when we toured everything was clean, the staff were friendly, and the residents seemed to be very happy. It was also recommended by a doctor. The room size she has seems adequate for her needs. They have been really good during the virus with communication and keeping the residents safe. I would definitely recommend.
