The 3-11 pm shift is very good and do their best to care for my mom. I sense they are short staffed. It is a very difficult job. I don’t know the morning crew, except [name removed], and she is great!!! The lady that cuts hair has not responded to my phone call two weeks ago.... Read more

Our experience with Foxbridge has been very good so far. The staff has been really personable, which is so important to me. They are always available to answer my questions or accommodate our needs. There are so many comforts here for the residents, and I have absolutely no worries about my loved one being here and getting the care he needs.

The staff are very very attentive and patient. They listened and made sure my loved one was receiving the care they needed. The food is good. They offer a monthly calendar of activities including family gatherings. The community is clean and the grounds are beautiful. There is a pond the residents are able to sit by. The community is like little cottages and I would recommend this community.

I really liked the way this community was setup they had individual cottages which I thought was more homelike. The one thing that we didn't like was that the temperature control was only for the main living area; they didn't have a control for every single bedroom. We thought the staff was friendly and very informative. The location was very serene.

Foxbridge Assisted Living was a nice place. The reason we did not choose them was because they could not accommodate my loved one's level of care. It was not the best fit for him.

January 6, 2017Thank you very much for taking time to review Foxbridge. We appreciate your kind words about our community. Your positive comments are so meaningful and rewarding to all of us. Best regards, Kristy Barton, Executive Director
The set up from cottage to cottage is easy to remember. There are no long hallways that feel like a hospital. The staff is fun, and kind, and understanding. When we sat down, and found out all that is included, and what kind of activities they had there for our loved one. Honestly, we were afraid to ask the price. However, it floored us that it was so affordable! Everyday we show up, we are treated like family. The care given to our loved one on good, and bad days is just outstanding! There are no feelings of being in a ward, or trapped/locked in. They have a pond. At anytime they can go walking (which is supervised), and go feed the ducks/fish at the pond. I have visited many facilities. This is the best one I have found for our loved one. They watch out for him, but at the same time, he keeps his independence, freedom, and dignity. As we looked, my husband and I, would ask ourselves the question 'Would we want to live here?'. Foxbridge was a resounding 'YES!'. Even my kids enjoy visiting, and love being a part of the little community that has been established at Foxbridge. This place was an answer to prayers.

The staff I met during our tour were nice. The food was ok. They have 6 different buildings and the food is cooked in one of the buildings and then brought over so it was not very hot. They do offer a lot of outings for the residents. This community was not very bright.

October 6, 2016Thank you so much for visiting Foxbridge and taking time to write a review about your experience. I am always listening! I am happy you had an opportunity to interact with our staff. I am proud to have dedicated, caring team members who love their jobs! Our residents are some of the most active you will find in a senior community. Our residents participate in a variety of activities and outings every month based on residents’ interests and requests. I am sorry you had a bad experience when you joined us for a meal. I can understand why you were disappointed with your food. We will investigate our food delivery process to ensure it does not happen again. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.” Sincere regards, Kristy Barton Executive Director
My relative became aggressive and did not fit into the community so he was asked not to stay any longer. The staff did not seem to like residents that are out of the norm and seemed to not try to maintain his dementia. I have not been able to get any of my calls returned. Otherwise I am sure he was feed well and was living in a clean environment. I appreciate Susan, from A Place For Mom, for helping find new arrangements.

My daughter and I had a very enlightening tour of the facility and we were happy to learn that the home like atmosphere seemed to be quite relaxing and the grounds are wonderful for walking and just sitting with the ponds around. There is an opportunity to fish or sit and think. The single room is a wonderful idea with the opportunity to personalize it to your home surroundingsThe breakfast experience is at ones leisure and own time .When the time comes we would surely consider Foxbridge at the top of our list.

Response from Foxbridge Assisted Living and Memory Care
December 20, 2016We are so glad you visited Foxbridge. We are proud of our unique community. Residents and families appreciate how easy it is to go outside and relax on one of our docks, or to stroll through the grounds. We look forward to your joining us! Kind regards, Kristy Barton Executive Director Foxbridge Assisted Living
My mother was at Foxbridge for not quite a year. The first couple of months all appeared good. Things started going downhill very quickly. Mom was misplaced in the incorrect level of care. She got around and could do for herself pretty much. The building she was placed in had residents that were mostly in wheel chairs and did almost nothing besides sit in the community room and sleep. The residents had daily menus and there was always an alternate choice, however they rarely received all items listed on the menu and if they did not eat what was placed in front of them they were NOT given the alternate meal nor were they even asked, they simply left the table hungry. Mom had problems getting her mail. I ordered her subscriptions to Southern Living and Good Housekeeping but she rarely received them. I would normally have to literally check with all attendants only to be told " no she didn't have mail" But when I insisted they look well a few times it was stuck in a drawer at the mail desk in her building. Most of these magazines now come wrapped in a plastic cover, yet hers never had one ... ( I got the same magazines at my home and mine arrived on time and wrapped each month) her should have also. It's a shame paying good money ( on the high end at that) and you entrust your loved one to their care, wanting the best for , in my case my mom, only to find what they provided was much less than or non-existence services that Foxbridge agreed and promised to deliver as part of her care program. I paid them a hefty sum each month to provide the high level of care for mom that I was promised she would receive in exchange for these funds. Sadly that is not what we received at Foxbridge. When families entrust our loved ones to facilities such as this, that "specialize" in the care needed by the elderly we do so because they promise to look after and care for them as they would a member of their own family. It's heartbreaking to find only empty promises and you beat yourself up because you placed your love one into that environment. I would only give this place a 2 star rating and that is only because the grounds offer a peaceful setting with a pond and greenery. A relaxing setting and the staff for the mist part are friendly.

Overall, I think Foxbridge Assisted Living is a nice place. The facility itself is clean and well kept, and the staff is friendly. My one complaint would be that although the aide staff is friendly, I think they could be a little more proactive when it comes to helping out the residents.

Have not been happy with our choice. The window in Mom's room leaks every time it rains. The ac has not been working well since she moved in. Whoever cleans hasn't done a good job so far. The nurses are great and most of the attendees are great.

They have done well. They have a great sales person, very informative and friendly and understands the needs of the elderly. They could improve on the activities and their orientation for the families and the residents whenever the are first moving on.

Overall I have been very satisfied with it. I am satisfied with the level of care my loved one is getting, she is happy there. She is going through a period of adjustment and she now feels like it's home and she likes it. The only complaint seems to be lack of communication and follow-up, but other than that everyone is nice and friendly and helpful.
