There were a few glitches as you always experience with a move, but on the whole it turned out to be a great choice. Any issues were addressed and corrected, which is nice to see. The staff is friendly and helpful. The activities are plentiful, and the food choices are good. The friends that my Mom has already met there are a welcome addition to her daily routine.

Everyone is so nice here. There are somethings that aren’t perfect but I couldn’t see me living anywhere else. The grounds here are beautiful and very well kept up. If something breaks in your apartment it gets fixed in a timely manner. The residents are for the most part are easygoing and super friendly. I’m happy to call this place home.

The Fountainview community has a nice pool and adequate walking areas. It is also close to downtown and I would recommend this community to other families.

The experience here has been great. Apartments are laid out well and spacious. Services provided are done well with happy and friendly staff. Number of activities and bus schedule has increased steadily since beginning of 2024. We are very happy here.

Very elderly residents who almost all have mobility issues. Not for able bodied adults. Residents line up at dining room at 4pm for dinner that starts at 4:30pm. Many people there should not be in independent living. Food service needs much improvement.Sometimes, it takes 2 hours for breakfast and long waits for dinner. Weekends are dead with no activities or staff. Major A/C leak into bedroom closet since a/c unit is located above the bedroom closet ceiling.No option to opt out of [fee removed] mandatory monthly food plan.Rent is relatively high for a building that is that old ( used to be a Marriott) Sliding glass doors in unit too old and all outside noise enters the apartment. Pros: security guard. On site PT/OT. Nice pool area.

Note that while some of our residents do use assistive devices, they remain active and engaged in our community. We know dining and activities are important parts of life at Fountainview and we strive to deliver a five-star experience to our residents in those and all other aspects of life here. I would like to speak with you directly about your experience as we are always looking for ways to improve the services we deliver. Please reach out so we can further discuss your concerns.
I have lived here for nine months and the kitchen has been going down hill. Today for example we had six at the table, two ordered pizza and couldn't eat it so three of us ordered hamburgers after waiting one hour and 15 minute's I left because the kitchen was so slow. One person waited an hour and a half then charged the order so he could leave. He was was still eating when l left. Another person was still waiting and he arrived before me. This is an example of the kitchens service. I still enjoy. living here but something has to change in the kitchen.

We know that dining is a very important aspect of life at Fountainview and am disappointed that we've fallen short of your expectations. Please reach out to me directly as I would like to speak with you in more details about your experience as we are committed to ensuring that you and your fellow residents once again love dining at Fountainview.
Poor security, spider webs everywhere, cleaning staff have residents sit in the hall as they attempt to clean, no receipts given for meals, employee turnover is high, laundry room dirty, trash room NASTY, price has gone up twice in one year, (YES 2x’s) and more importantly my mom has now gone 2 weeks with no air conditioning!!! Went to buy a fan, because the work order has not been acknowledge (meaning it’s not her turn..really!) My mom likes the activities and the people. If this isn’t fixed by the end of the week…I will be calling the Dept of Aging. Come on Fountainview $[removed]a month and you can’t guarantee safety and air conditioning and that’s the minimum. The people running Executive Drive need an update…bring the others back that were there in 2022. STOP hiring people that don’t care.

Our head of maintenance has met with your mom and has helped to resolve the issue with her air conditioning. I will be checking in with her as well to make sure that all is well -- and invite you to connect with me personally if you have any further questions or concerns as I want every family to have a five-star experience at Fountainview.
My 88 year old father decided the time was right for independent living. We visited a number of places and fountainview was the clear winner. Marina, the sales director, was a pleasure to work with and took the time to work with us to make sure this was the right place for dad. The staff is warm and caring and it reminds me of a five star resort rather than a retirement community. Activities are varied and so far, for the most part, dad seems to like the food. The studio apartment meets my dad’s needs and is affordable especially when you consider what is included.

I put all 3's because it's an average place in all ways. My dad is comfortable there, so that makes me happy. When my dad first got there, he said the food was good. But he noticed that it has gotten worse in the last 3 months. There is a lot of staff turnover. The transportation has been very reliable. He also appreciates housekeeping. He likes the grounds, too.

So far, we have had a very good experience. I chose this place because at the time they were running a special that could accommodate my mother's budget. I like the fact that the assisted living and the nursing home are in the same complex. The number of activities that they have, there is transportation For my mother to go to the bank, supermarket, the food is really good and overall mom is happy there.

January 10, 2024Sabrina, we were glad that the cost and location of Fountainview were an excellent fit for your mom's needs, and loved reading your feedback on how happy she is here.
This place has been in a downward spiral since the executive director came on board a year ago, compounded with Fountainview being taken private. Since then, there has been almost a complete turnover in staff in every aspect of the operation. Basic upkeep is nonexisitent. Dirty carpets and elevator (even the recently refurbished one), poor housekeeping, holes in the wall, broken air conditioning, moldy ceiling tiles, rusty ceiling frames, dirty chair cushions, malfunctioning master fire alarm, and broken entrance gate to name a few. The food service is in dire need of improvement; slow service, lukewarm food, and menu experimentation. This is their 3rd or 4th chef in 18 months. When the Executive Director is addressed with problems, she never takes responsibility and replies that its being worked on, as weeks and months and over a year for the elevator, go by. The nursing staff is caring but understaffed. It's not a place I'd recommend. Take a tour of Building 5 and see for yourself.

That team, many of whom have been with us for years, takes all resident and family concerns very seriously. As I iterated in our meeting we are committed to addressing the concerns your family raised during that discussion as we all share your goal of having a community worthy of five stars. We will be checking in with your loved one on a regular basis to ensure they are satisfied with all we do here at Fountainview.
My mother is on a very limited income. After one year, they sent intention to raise the rent. My mother being quite upset; I contacted Fountainview by email and explained the financial problem. They responded and asked if I would like to request a rate increase exemption. I answered in the positive. I requested an exemption and asked if there was any formal procedure to be followed. That email was on [date removed]. A month has gone by (today is [date removed]), and still no response. I tried emailing and calling many times. Voicemails and emails are not answered. the increase is supposed to go into effect [date removed]. Very frustrating.
Inexperienced and unresponsive management. We picked this community because they stated they we're building 4 PICKLEBALL courts, which my mom plays But, they have no programs in place/ no teaching pro, which they promised.[name removed] , the executive director of FountainView, is blaming the lack of any PICKLEBALL program on a missing fence.

August 2, 2023While we do have a number of residents interested in playing Pickleball, summer temperatures in West Palm Beach make playing this time of year unappealing to folks. We are looking to hold a 'grand opening' event for our courts in the fall once temperatures moderate a bit, and look forward to seeing some energetic play from our residents. We hope your mom will join with her neighbors in christening our courts then.
My dad is LOVING his life at Fountainview! Beautiful apartments; delicious food, including amazing Sunday brunch; every conceivable amenity or service -- GREAT value; wonderful staff AND residents! He calls me every morning to tell me he has nothing to complain about. Also close to great outside restaurants and other "field trip" opportunities when you're ready to go off site. 10 minutes from PBI Airport for visiting friends and family. We Are Thrilled With Our Decision For Him to Move Here! He gets up every morning, makes coffee in his beautiful, full kitchen, sits out on the balcony and watches the sun rise over the West Palm Beach skyline as he sips his coffee and literally marvels over the richness of his life.

What a disappointment. I moved here [date removed] and now it is a month later with an inoperable refrigerator. I have had altercations with director of maintenance. All he does is yells and blames me for the refrigerator. He is obnoxious band tried to intimidate me which I will not allow. I have put in three requests to fix or replace and i am sitting here on a Saturday afternoon refrigerator not working. I drive and when maintenance comes by once yesterday I was not home and do not allow anyone in my room without me. Is this good service? Refrigerators should be treated with priority. I have spoken to appropriate individuals.
