Moving my mom here !!!!

Coachman Square at Woodbridge is a commendable assisted living and memory care community that stands out for its exceptional support and vibrant atmosphere. [name removed], in particular, I will commend for her incredible support and helpfulness, demonstrating a deep knowledge of the community and its offerings. The staff across the board were amazing, reflecting a commitment to providing quality care and fostering a warm environment. Residents also contributed to the community's welcoming vibe, being friendly and engaging, which enhances the overall experience we had. In summary, Coachman Square at Woodbridge seems to be a place where both residents and their families can feel confident and supported, making it a great option for my mother. Highly recommend

Coachman Square Review

They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and try their best to accommodate. Does not always follow through well. And the tiered pricing is not inclusive. If you don't fully understand what's included you will have surprise charges. The place mom is at is more inclusive services band for a lesser price. No hidden charges. They include items in their top tier Coachman did not and for $1000 +less. For activities, the coordinator could have been more engaging. She could have walked the room to encourage the members to participate. As a teacher, I recognize the lack of engagement and enthusiasm. I would have picked songs that would elicit motivation for movement. I actually got up and did one.

Coachman Square

The staff is very nice , I think because of my moms dementia, it's been a tough experience for her. I think the initial move experience could have been better. Although it may not be the best fit for my mom, I could recommend Coachman Square for others.

Tour experience

We had a great tour and thought Coachman Square was a beautiful facility. It was very large and they had a lot of great amenities and activities offered for the residents. I did notice that most residents I saw had a private aid with them which made me nervous because I know how expensive that is. I did not think the staff to resident ratio was adequate.

This was our second choice, we didn’t go with them because my loved one wanted to stay in the same city and this one was not.

Our tour experience

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked this community and its only a few minutes away from our family. The only reason we didn't pick Coachman, was because there were no more rooms available for memory care.

If you need to go to a place like this, it's certainly one of the better places I know of. Better than I expected.

It's a friendly place. They take good care of you. They're really on the ball here usually. I've had no problems at all so far. The living space is 1500 square feet, more than spacious. They come in once a week to clean and do an okay job. The food always comes out hot, and they serve it promptly. Usually it's ample, and if you want seconds they provide them. It's better institutional food than you would normally get.

Overall good

In the beginning the sales person was very friendly and helpful, and our loved one has a very very nice apartment. She definitely is enjoying the meals they are serving, and they are adding on more activities within the community. It is still a little restricted but they are now able to take the residents out to lunch. There was a little miss communication when moving our loved one in, due to the covid limitations we were not able to help our loved one really move in, so we thought they would of stepped up a little more to help out. However, our loved one would tell a new residents moving in that she is happey staying here for forever

Coachman Square Exceeds Expectations

My father and his companion have now been at Coachman Square for 16 weeks and it has been a very positive experience for them. The staff is very friendly, attentive and responsive. They deeply appreciate enjoying three meals a day served restaurant style in the dining room. Not to mention – he occasionally takes advantage of the daily afternoon ice cream bar!! My father and his companion have made new friends and they participate in daily activities. The private living quarters are very comfortable and the public spaces are nicely appointed. The entire facility is bright and airy and very esthetically pleasing. So – altogether a very positive experience for my father and his companion – and - very reassuring for all the children! Coachman Square has exceeded our expectations.

Tour for care

This was nice tour and the staff were nice and caring. We liked that the community seemed nice and clean. They do offer a lot of nice activities. The menu seemed appealing. This community was not as close as was needed. Other families might want to tour the community for the care of a loved one.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Coachman Square! The staff here is fantastic, they really go above and beyond when it comes to helping out the residents and making them feel at home. Peace of mind

Coachman's Square was a fabulous choice on many levels. My mother(92) is actually happy here—loves the facility, the food, cleanliness, the staff friendliness and support. My father's(94) needs are well taken care of medically, physically and mentally. My brother and I have been given a gift, knowing that our parents are safe. It doesn't eliminate all that is involved in care-taking, but it certainly allows us the opportunity to go "AAAAH"
