if I could give a zero I would. Had to ask multiple times for help with dishes/ room tidiness, laundry the facility itself is very clean and nice in the lobby and dining room. A nursing supervisor actually told any ambulance driver at one point not to bring my father back to them because it wasn't an appropriate place for him to be. Zero caring from that woman although other staff were friendly and kind. Care services - very poor. Staff had absolutely no idea how to care for someone with an indwelling catheter and Parkinson's disease. Very disappointing. My father was there for a little less than one month it took them three weeks to understand he could not feed himself. Family had to come in to be sure that he got fed. They really can't deliver anything for someone who cannot leave their room. Extremely disappointed in this facility. My father, with advanced Parkinson's should never have been excepted as a assisted living client. We explained in detail many times before he was brought in that he was suffering from advanced Parkinson's and needed quite a bit of help they assured us they could handle it. He ended up falling and a hospitalization with a UTI that took IV antibiotics to clear up. The uncaring nature of most of the medical personnel we encountered there was quite astonishing. I hope no one else makes the mistake we did it cost us [fee removed] in non refundable fees when we finally had to pull them out and set him up with homecare with a live in 24 hour aide.

My aunt is no longer in Chatham place where she needed additional care but it is still in the Mary Wade complex. I would rate everything of five other than activities I would rate a three. It seems that they were limited and slow to get started. I understand it was a new facility. Overall the quality of care, meals and staff we're very good. I have in the past and will continue to recommend Chatham Place.

We picked this community because they assured us again that they could handle my father's needs. We were spending quite a bit of money each month, and they were not doing anything and actually the last the last day he was there he fell unattended fall, and he had to go to the hospital because he's on a blood thinner, and when he did the AMR man from the ambulance told the people at the hospital that Chatham Place refused to take him back that night that he needed to be hospitalized they couldn't handle his care. We were extremely disappointed. I would not send a dog to that place.

My family and I highly recommend Chatham Place. It is absolutely wonderful on all levels. My mother has been a resident there for over a year and it has been a wonderful experience. The care of the residents is exceptional. The staff are all very compassionate and thorough. The residents have so many activities daily which ultimately leads to a great quality of life. The Activities Director is one in a million. Anyone looking for assisted living or memory care needs to take a tour of Chatham Place.

We toured Chatham Place at Mary Wade and it was great! The facility was beautiful. We felt that [name removed] was wonderful, also. We had a very nice tour!
It is a brand new facility and is very nice and clean. There does seem to be a communication problem between the staff here - I think there are some bugs that needs to be worked out. I think they need to be more in touch with each other -that is one helpful improvement that could be made. I would and have recommended Chatham Place at Mary Wade to other families.

Chatham Place is a not for profit, independent facility. That enables the staff to be able to individualize the care. The staff to resident ratio here is awesome. The room sizes are very nice, they are private rooms. My husband has a studio and he can seat 6 people comfortably in his room. Out of all of the places we looked, they have the best food. They use a lot of imagination in their menu choices and they do not repeat things for months. It has a lot of flavor. They also pride themselves on the delicious deserts. My husband has Parkinson's and they offer a special physical therapy program and he has improved dramatically - they saved his life. I would absolutely recommend Chatham Place and already have.

The facility is spotless, the staff is compassionate and overall amazing and the activities are just great. Their food is truly the best. They have a wonderful selection and my mom truly enjoys everything. Additionally the waitstaff is very attentive and knows the residents likes/dislikes. I highly recommend making a visit there, if you are looking for a facility for your loved one.

Meals are hot and fresh right out the kitchen. The diversity in meal choices are better than some restaurants. The portions are plentiful. Vegetables and fruit are fresh. The deserts are to die for. Keep the food coming!
