Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks

I have been coming into this facility for a very long time as a nurse from an outside company and I have seen it go through many changes. But right now it is the BEST it has ever been. The office staff and the care staff are the most loving and caring people there is. Every one of the employees goes above and beyond to make sure that all of the residents are taken care of. They work very well with the families and the outside care companies to make sure the residents have everything they want and need.

My dad moved to Brookdale Tanglewood in April 2024. He's pretty good mentally but needs people to check on him throughout the day, & help with personal care, medications, & other nursing care. I first toured Brookdale on a rainy Sunday afternoon, completely unannounced. My husband & I were struck by the number of staff working - going up & down the halls, acknowledging and saying hi to residents by name. I visit 5-7 days a week so see lots of different people at various times. Caregivers, med techs, staff & management have uniformly been terrific. They genuinely care about the residents with a cheerful attitude. I'm not sure how management can identify such good employees & keep them. The facility isn't new or flashy, but it's clean, well-kept, with an amazing courtyard. The past many months, I have learned that the people - their attitude and competency - are what is most important. For dad & me, Brookdale provides exactly that. We are beyond thankful for them.

The registration process was great! The staff went out of their way to stay in touch with us and guide us through the process. The nurse is very proactive with us and helped us to get all his meds set up on their system and then pointed us to the portal to get auto refills sent directly to the facility.

The friendliness of the staff gets a 5+. They are all so very nice! Patient with my Dad every day all day. Based on the experience we have had with Brookdale Tangeweood to other families who may need a place for loved ones.

Our family experienced some dramatic changes throughout the time our loved one was at Tanglewood Oaks. The staff worked with us to address all the challenges. They continually provided loving care for all of us. We will always be grateful. Their care allowed our loved one to enjoy her last few years. Thank you

My mom is currently a resident at Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks. The only thing that I've ever had a problem with is the laundry service. They have lost three items, but they are looking for them. Other than that, I can't talk highly enough about them. They are taking such good care of my mom, I couldn't be happier. My mom is extremely happy there.

They are very helpful and seem happy with what they do. It has only been a short period of time, but so far I think I would probably recommend them to others.

Honestly we love all of it. The staff is absolutely amazing and so far my mom seems happy! We love their attention to detail. Clean and all the staff members really care about all the residents and it shows.

My family and loved ones who reside here have received the upmost thoughtful care even in trying times. Everyone here is very kind and go out of their way to help a family through life’s transitions.

Love Brookdale tanglewood oaks! Such a lovely place and the staff are so wonderful. It’s almost as if you’ve never left home. Shaantrice and the staff in whole are extraordinary, so caring and the friendliest people you could meet!

Well I'm not suppose to use names....but everybody in all the departments have been very helpful !! Getting accustomed to my father and letting him do his thing !!!! I'm sure the care will get even better as we go !!

We were blessed to become aware of your facility and do happy that my sister in law, Ann Burrow is living there. That being said, Ann recently told me that your head chef recently left and his replacement has not been providing tasty meals….

I recently moved my Uncle into the assisted living at Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks. He absolutely loves it there. The staff is so friendly and is always popping checking on him. They keep the facility so clean and decorated so nice. They always have things going on for the residents to do. I think one of the best compliments I can give this place is my uncle says “it feel like home”

I had the pleasure to volunteer at Brookdale . My overall experience was was very enjoyable. I was able to participate and interact with the residents in various activities.. The staffs involvement with the clients is positive and supportive. They provide a comfortable living environment. The residents enjoyed participating in the activities

Moving my grandfather from CA to Texas was difficult enough, the AMAZING staff at Brookdale made it easy. The staff is great with his care and makes sure that his needs are met. Knowing that he is comfortable where he is at now, gives my family a peace of mind.

My dad moved to Texas a year and half ago and due to rapidly declining health, we had to move him to three different homes within nine months. When I visited Tanglewood Oaks, I wanted this to be the last move my dad would have to make. This facility is beautiful with a large courtyard with mature trees. My dad loves sitting outside watching the birds and squirrels. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They are patient and kind and work with the family to make sure the resident is taken care of and the family is comfortable with their care. This is a great facility and I would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a family member.

Everyone has been so friendly and helpful helping me and my dad navigate through this stage in life for him. I would not have been able to do this without the staff at Brookdale. The nurses have been great with all of my questions and concerns.
