Overall, this is a very nice facility. I have two family members there: one in Memory Care and the other in an Assisted Living apartment. The staff in MC is lovely--friendly, helpful, reassuring, etc. They are always, always welcoming! They have a tough job, for sure. The move-in was fairly simple and there was plenty of support. There was a LOT to take care of the first few months, which was overwhelming at times, but that gets better! Patience is required for special requests, such as revamping TV wiring, etc. but it all gets done. The maintenance people are also very nice! The food is very good here--my mom has gained some weight, which she really needed! I am most impressed with the medical staff--they have kept such a close eye on things and take care of everything so efficiently it is almost seamless. That's a big relief--to know that my mom and other loved one have good care. The physical therapists have done wonders for my mom especially--they are outstanding! Dementia and old age is hard, but we have peace of mind knowing that our loved ones are safe and well-cared for. It is pricey, but I would definitely recommend Bear Creek to others who are looking for a really reliable facility.... Read more

Nurses don't always communicate with family. Especially in regard to pills which are given to my mother. Unnecessary vitamins, new meds, etc. Beyond that, it's been a reasonably decent living facility. This is her first time ever being in assisted living so I have nothing to compare it to.

I'm not sure that my husband got the best care at Bear Creek Senior Living. After his 2nd day, he fell out of bed and broke his hip/hit his head.
The facility is super clean, staff is very friendly and competent. Pricing is reasonable but the more care that's needed is when it gets a bit costly. My mother has a studio. It's around 250 Square feet. She seems content with it. The closet is quite large for such a tiny space but nice. The location is excellent.

According to my mother- in -law, everyone is friendly there are plenty of activities and [name removed] was amazing at getting my loved one situated quickly and efficiently. Coming from my mother-in-law, the food could be a little more flavorful. Also serve dinner until a little later in the evenings.

I toured this community and it was great. Everyone was friendly and cleanliness was very good.
When we first walked in after visiting so many places, there was this sense of community. It is a smaller facility with 2 wings and then an outdoor space. There is no stench when you walk in either which was huge for us. It has a more inviting and homey atmosphere to it, not institutional like so many others. I was able to bring my horse up there to visit with the residents. The outdoor space is wonderful. The staff were all great as well. I would highly recommend Bear Creek Senior Living.

My loved one's biggest complaint is the food. It's very bland, and even though they put out a menu, they're often out of things and rarely have what's on the menu. Other than that, regarding things like friendliness, cleanliness, and staff she's partially satisfied, although not completely.

I loved the rooms at this community it was just not up to my loved ones standards. I loved the people and it was in a great location but the rooms were outdated.
We chose Bear Creek because we were were not happy with his previous facility. It is very friendly, when you walk in the people are always in a group doing things, not just sitting by themselves. They are very active and always doing something. It is very easy for him to make friends here and he is very happy. I would definitely recommend them.

CCRC - 5 star rating with Medicare. My husband thought this was the best option due to the small corporation size. But the sales person was just plain slick. He wasn't able to answer many questions re: memory care. Said that the memory care coordinator would be the one to ask but she wasn't there and I didn't email her to ask. The facility is like a big hotel. It's not bad, but isn't really anything special about it. It is just around the block from where my sister currently lives, but that's not enough to persuade me.

During the time our loved one was there, they would take her on walks up and down the halls because that was one of the things she loved to do. It is a beautiful area surrounded by mountains and the grounds are just as beautiful.

My grandma had stayed here before it was Bear Creek and that is why we chose it for my friend. The only complaint that I do have is I was on the phone with my friend, he was having heart pains and when I was talking to him on the phone, I could hear a staff member was at the door screaming and yelling at him. Other that incident, we were happy with the faciliy. The administrator here was very nice and helpful.

In late April 2018, I fell, hit my head and lost consciousness. After a week in the hospital, I lived in a facility for six weeks, and was then moved to Bear Creek Senior Living. Upon arrival in Mid- June 2018, I was suffering from bed sores equal to third degree burns across my heels and buttocks. I had lost nearly forty pounds at the previous facility, was not strong enough to sit up and was not lucid. In addition I had nerve damage in my legs and feet and was unable to stand, let alone walk. The staff was very, very good to me. With their care and encouragement I regained my lucidity, my health and my ability to walk. I went home for good in November 2019. I cannot say enough positive things about the Bear Creek facility, staff, management and yes, the food!!

My Father-in-law was in Bear Creek for 7 days with a broken leg. He died at the end of it all. Unfortunately, they are understaffed I guess and participate in a "pass the buck" workplace philosophy. I understand being busy but rudeness from the staff left our family frightened at the prospect of the lack of care he would receive because he is 80 and OCD. Our fears were confirmed when we came in the day before he died and a CNA came in placed his food by his bed and my husband said, he can't feed himself, it looks like he had a stroke!! The nurse looks down and says, yeah maybe he did. INCOMPETENT!!! So many more stories in those few short days. If you want your loved one mistreated or killed, send them to this 5 star [language removed].

Bear Creek Senior Living is an outstanding facility! We have been so impressed with the clean facility, very caring staff, attentive doctors/PA, good food, etc. We just can't say enough good things about the nurses and CNAs! They are so caring and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I can't imagine there is a better senior facility around. I can't recommend Bear Creek Senior Living high enough!

I just moved my mother OUT of this facility. Moving her in was the worst experience. Brookdale is more concerned about corporate profits than they are about a quality living environment for their residents. They are extremely understaffed and the staff they do have is poorly trained and lazy. On more than one occasion my mother was left unattended while preforming bathing, which means they left her alone naked in the bathroom while in the middle of bathing for up to 30 minutes. The staff is slow in responding to call buttons. The average response time was 15 to 20 minutes. The Administration is unresponsive when concerns are addressed to them and there is no attempt to fix issues. The nursing staff is lazy and untrained. Do not move into this Assisted Living Facility.
