We did a lot of research and did our homework before deciding on a place. Arden Courts seemed lovely. They talked a good story. I feel like the sales person was very good at her job and sold us a bill of goods. They just didn't do what they said they'd do. The doctor on staff was there weekly instead of daily as they had promised. There were half as many nurses on staff per shift than they had promised. They said they would bathe my loved one more than once a week, and they didn't. Her hair looked disheveled, and she was wearing mismatched old clothes, despite the brand new nice things I had brought for her that were never unpacked. I could go on and on. I put my loved one in the facility, she got her shots and was in quarantine, and shortly after that she came down with Covid and passed away a few days later. They had told me no one in the facility had Covid when she moved in. I would call daily to see how she was doing, and they would tell me she was fine. But when I was finally allowed to come in, I saw she had gone all morning without her hearing aid in or glasses on. I couldn't believe they would leave her like that all morning, completely unable to hear and see. It's been a horrible experience, and I'm very upset. We brought a little refrigerator and bottled water for her so she wouldn't have to leave her room to get a drink, and it never got plugged in. We set up cable, and it was never plugged in during the two weeks she was there. If she hadn't died of Covid, I feel she would have died from a broken heart and lack of dignity. And we couldn't even hold her hand and be there with her. If I could do it again, I would have found a way to continue paying for full-time nurses. The day she was admitted to the hospital for Covid, she had explosive diarrhea in her easy chair. Days later when we went to pick it up, it still had feces all over it. I would give them negative scores if I could.
Good place for a loved one. Just be sure you visit often. Lots of falls and many times no one is around. Short staffed but most Aida that work there are wonderful

My mother was in Arden courts for 7 months. Overall she had a good experience after I complained a few times about certain staff. One aid treated the residents horribly. Once I complained they moved her to a different wing. Many times they were so short staffed I helped with activities and served meAls. I suggested some one in charge work nites and weekends since the care was usually lacking then. So many residents do not have visitors which is so sAd. Thank you to the aids who go above and beyond like [names removed] to name a few Mm

My father was just a resident at Arden Court. They assured me they could care for an Alzheimers patient on hospice and they do not have the capability or staffing to adequately care for someone on hospice.

My Mother is a Hospice Resident at Arden Courts in Yardley. As a result of two devastating in one eight (8) hour period, my Mother was finally admitted to St. Mary's Hospital with a concussion, brain bleed, fractured wrist (which I complained about the bruising and she was refused treatment), fractured nose and bruised over most of her body. She was placed on a feeding tube and released back to Arden Courts with Hospice Care. She gained 3 lbs in a week and then lost 7 lbs in one month. While this may be normal, I was told by a care giver that my Mom was eating her dinner with her fingers.. The caregiver told me that "whatever works"! The food was macaroni salad. Her wash is disappearing and even with me doing her wash, I find other residents clothing in my Mother's room in her closet. I personally feel that the nursing staff does only what they absolutely need to do. This is my personal recent experience of this facility. Arden Court is owned by Manor Care in Ohio. Research the company and then Arden Courts who employed a caregiver who was arrested for abuse in I believe 2015. She was caught on a Nanny cam. The troubling question, why wasn't the staff noticing the abuse. Please read the article on the internet. My suggestion is a Nanny Cam in the room, I would post my pictures, but I do not know how,

I have been wanting to write a review for some time now. By far the hardest decision I ever made but have never regretted my decision to choose Arden Courts in Yardley. I am continually impressed by the kindness and dignity that they give their residents. My mom has come to life again. They do not talk down to their residents they treat them like the respected individuals they are. I would choose them again!! I have told all my friends if you have to make such a decision come to Arden Courts. Yardley is the best. Two thumbs up!!

We looked at all the places in the area and chose this place. From the day our mom moved in we’ve had peace of mind. The staff are kind and compassionate and they treat the people who live there with respect.

Everyone here is great. From [Removed] in the front office to [Removed] in the nursing office. Caregivers know what to do for the residents. My mom is living life again and being social. She's always clean, always smiling, always happy! Don't go anywhere else if you need help with someone with dementia. They are the best!

My mother is doing okay since her move to this community, but I do have some concerns. She has had quite a few bad falls. The staff is okay, but I do think they need to hire more care givers. Her personal care could be better, they only bath her twice a week. They do a good job with the cleanliness of the community for the most part. The meals okay, and she has gotten involved in some of the activities they offer. Overall due to the lack of caring my mother has received, this is not a community I would recommend.

I had my loved one here for a short time. It didn't take very long to realize I wasn't comfortable having them here. I felt like I needed to be there, and decided to find another place. It wasn't the best experience, and I don't think I would recommend them.

They have poor management and untrained staff. Found that many medications were not administered. My loved ones's clothes were always filthy and personal hygiene was not a priority for the residents. Beware of evening (after 5) and weekend staff.

What really made the difference is the staff. They are just very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating and overall just seemed trustworthy. Felt comfortable enough to entrust them with our loved ones.

Very nice facility. Staff fully involved with residents. The Director is a credit to the facility. She seems knowledgeable about dementia/Alzheimers. Facility extremely clean, bright and staff seems very pleasant and competent. I like that the facility is divided into 4 sections, thereby making each section more "homey" and personal. Down side is not a Medicaid facility - if we run out of funds, would need to move to another facility. Cost is on par with the other assisted living facilities and is all inclusive except for medications and incontinent needs.
