Before a resident is accepted, they must go through a service plan screening to assure their needs are going to be met. This screening includes a number of areas of interest such as community must document any substantial changes in a resident’s status which may necessitate relocation to a more specialized community , monthly nursing assessment of resident as ordered by physician , medical examination report, and communities must document such assessment. This community type has a number of provisions pertaining to medication assistance. These provisions include opening the container and removing a prescribed amount of medication, placing an oral dosage in the resident’s hand, and reading the label.
