Cascade Heights

My Mom is very happy at Cascade Heights. She thinks that the food is better than her previous residence in Chicago. I agree, the food is all from scratch and they don't scrimp on the portions. The staff are very helpful, but will leave you to do your thing if that's what you want. I'm very glad to have made this move for her.

I tell people that it is a lovely place to live. They give her good care. It's clean and she's safe as someone lays eyes on her several times a day. My only lingering issue is that I wish I had someone to call with small questions and concerns. It takes a while for the resident and their support people ( I'm not family. There isn't any.) to adjust and the devil is in the details.

I would recommend it to others. I told my mom that if I can live in a place like Cascade Heights when I am old I will be very happy. We picked this community because it was very good. Residents were all very positive about it.

Cascade Heights is a great place! 25 years from now if it is still good, we may have to go here! The staff is super friendly and awesome Just walking around the place. You can see all of the people that live there seem very happy. The apartments are fabulous, full kitchen. His mom actually has the two bedroom. She turned one of the rooms into a dining room, which looks great a screened in porch patio on a third floor new appliances, stainless steel plenty of closet space everywhere. The place feels more like a resort than assisted-living. The full apartments are fabulous. Plenty of space storage and a full kitchen so many activities happy hours, music live music we can't say good things. And his mom loves the food which was a complaint at her her previous place in Ocala plus she didn't have even a kitchenette let alone full kitchen and she's paying $[removed] less here for more than double the space and so many more amenities

I am currently a resident at Cascade Heights and everything has been great for me at this facility so far. The staff is very friendly and very resident attentive. The food is good and it varies on a daily basis. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The activities and the value for cost are also great. I would recommend Cascade Heights to family and friends.

My loved one is a current resident at Cascade Heights and so far the experience at this facility has been great. I've found working with the staff easy and professional. The dinning room food is good and the portions are perfect. I would highly recommend this facility to any family.

I think like most places, they struggle with being understaffed. My mom is upstairs in assisted living. The nurses have all been very friendly and kind. I've never felt like my mother was unsafe there. They've always had plenty of activities downstairs but recently they started doing more upstairs which I love because my mom doesn't always feel comfortable going downstairs. Thinking back to when she started there, there was quite a bit left out of orientation so you're kind of on your own to figure out how to get things done thought you just have to keep asking questions. One thing that I wish they did was to offer times to review residents care with the family, at least in assisted living. I know that would be helpful for me and for my mom.

The activities and entertainment provided for the residents here are top-notch. There is always something to do! The apartments are very nice too. Our parents are happy here and that makes us happy!

This building goes above and beyond in all levels. Their activies are fabulous and the heart that is put into every event is far above the best. Its a pleasure visiting ??[Name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] make this place a happy place.

My parents have lived here for several years. They enjoy delicious meals, many fun activities, opportunities to socialize, celebrations, rides to various shopping and appointments, all while providing a safe and clean place to live. If they need any help with maintenance or anything, the staff is quick to address and fix their problems. I highly recommend Cascade Heights for your loved ones!!

My mom spent the last 6 years of her life here in Independent Living. I couldn't have asked for more in a residential senior community. Even during the dreadful years of Covid, she was happy and entertained. The staff went out of their way to ensure safety with the residents. During hurricanes, the staff spent the night at the residence to make sure all was well. When times were good, it was difficult to even see her because there were so many activities! Three cheers for Cascade Heights!

Since my mom moved to AL she has participated in so many wonderful activities. It seems like every week there is something going on….making Derby hats, baking hamantaschen, bingo, ice cream parties, line dancing and so much more. [Name removed] and [name removed] are awesome!! I love to see mom happy and smiling!!

The facility is clean, well maintained and has enough of space for some fun activities! Also perfect for socializing and relaxing. The range and quality of activities that the residents have access to is very impressive. Attention to detail goes into all activities. They are well organized, well staffed and tailored to the needs and interests of the residents. I would highly recommend this assisted living home to anyone looking for a supportive and engaging environment for their loved ones. It’s the ideal place for seniors to grow and thrive in their golden years.

Hi. My name is Ginger! I’m a singer/entertainer and have been doing shows in and around the central Florida area for many years, in many different facilities. One of my favorite places is Cascade Heights in Longwood. There are several reasons for that, and one of the main reasons is because of the awesome members of your Activities Department. They get so involved in the shows, making sure that the residents have as much fun as possible! They’re amazing. Trust me when I tell you that that’s not something you find in all senior facilities! Having said that, it brings me to one of the other reasons: the residents seem to be very happy there, and I say again that that’s not the case in all senior facilities. And because of the great activities team you have, it will continue to be one of my favorite places to perform! Thank you for the opportunity for me to be one of the regular entertainers at Cascade Heights Longwood, and I look forward to a long and continuing relationship there.

Cascade Heights has been a great home for my mom. She is in independent living where she is safe, comfortable, and enjoying life. She has many friends, plays bridge, and enjoys the many entertainment opportunities offered. The staff goes above and beyond in making her feel an important part of the activities.

I am a private caregiver in my community. I have had Clients move to Cascade Heights. It is wonderful life transition. They offer a plethora of activities both on campus and off. The transportation Drivers go above and beyond in the care and safety of the residents. It may be a dreaded Drs appointment or a fun ride out for sight seeing, either way they make it comfortable and fun?? I recommend it to my clients, family and friends.

Excellent activity staff! They are very committed to the residents to give them the best active lifestyle they expect and desire. I would definitely recommend Cascade Heights for senior living at its best.

Cascade Heights Seniors are living their best life with a wild arrange of Activities ! Caring and Loving Associates throughout the entire building … but the Activity Staff go all out ! You can always see fantastic entertainers and fun filled events going on inside the community , alongside small room , more intimate setting activities . Outings to restaurants and shopping. Even a scenic ride out on Sundays. The transportation department plays a big part in the activity department with helping residents with Wii bowling, tech time & photography . Aquasize classes have opened now on top of an already busy schedule , you have to really make choices in order not to miss anything!

I visited my brother [name removed] and while I was their there were activities going on, all res were involved and very Happy , The Staff was very encouraging for residents participation, I could tell that The Staff were like family to the res and they all loved one another as family, As the old saying goes" Actions Speak louder than words" Jus by my observation I could tell and feel that The res. absolutely loved [name removed] and other staff!! The Activity Department is excellent. They provide so many fun, interesting, and engaging activities. They care about the residents and want their lives to be fulfilling and fun. There is no activity department better anywhere in Central Florida.
