Our family had an in person tour with Golden Age and the tour experience was great. The owner is a very lovely and knowledgeable lady. I didn't choose her because that would be like at my home, I wanted my aunt to have more to do, interact with many people cause i think she would benefit.
We chose Golden Age because I had heard about them through some people I know and they were very satisfied with their experience. The staff are all very caring and attentive to the residents. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

I arrived unexpectedly the day before my appointment. The lady that gave us the tour was very hospitable and gave me all the time I required. All were friendly. This facility is a real home environment in a neighborhood community. One would not even know it is an assisted living by it's location and outside appearance with lovely landscaping. It is clean, friendly and has a close relationship with the staff as they only take 6 residents. They have a shuttle to take the residents places. Medical personnel visit periodically. I strongly considered it for my mom. However, I thought she would be more comfortable with a facility that is more open and a little larger than a 4 bedroom ranch house with 2 living rooms and a family room. The monthly fee is reasonable. I would recommend this community if your loved one is comfortable in a real "home".

A Place for Mom has scored Golden Age Senior Living Care at Brentford 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
