The community is just great. They have lots of activities and posted pictures on their Facebook page so we can see them enjoy the activities. They are starting to get folks out of the community and are doing driving trips around town. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

It's a great place to live and great people to spend your time with. We picked this community, because it was next to the VA Clinic. I can see that improvement are needed in areas, but off hand at this time I can't see them.

Highgate Senior Living in Bellingham, WA
3.8

My dad has been at Highgate for one year and he fit right in pretty quick. Although he has mobility issues he gets around quite well with a walker and the facility is so safe especially with his walker. He enjoys the food, and I like the fact that his room is cleaned once a week and bed changed for him. He has been encouraged to deal the black jack games once a week, and has found some friends to play cribbage with also. Family is always welcome, and the staff are equally friendly in greeting us!. I am so glad that his move from his home to assisted living has worked out so well!
