Memory Care
I have lived here for about a year and a half. I have enjoyed it immensely. Very friendly people live and work here. I recommend it for people 65 years old and older. We get three meals a day plus snacks. We get activities that are great. We have exercise programs for 45 minutes at least 2 times a week. There is also bingo and occasionally we will get entertainment from the community. That is great and very enjoyable. We have sing a longs and bell choir. During the holidays, the staff is wonderful in surprising us with different kinds of activities that we don't do on a regular basis. We also have someone come in to do chair yoga with us. To me, it is a great place to live. The staff is very helpful.
It's a very friendly place. They are very respectful to the residents. And they show true concern and care for them The facility is good. They clean the apartments every week. My loved one likes the food for the most part, although he's not picky. Sometimes it can be tough / hard to eat, which I think they need to consider for the elderly. But I would highly recommend Brookstone.
If you are in need of a little help or a family member is needing a little help with daily functions, The Oaks Manor is the place to be. The owners and employees are very attentive to the residents. The surroundings are very nice and the food is delicious. Activities are provided to cover a wide range of interests. All in all a great place for yourself or loved ones.
