We initially feared Mom would not like being in assisted living, but she absolutely loves it at the Oaks Manor. When we do get her out for the day she is always ready to get back. She always mentions how safe she feels being there. The employees go way above and beyond what is expected and genuinely care about the welfare of their residents. Mom can select what she wants to eat, and she is always taking part in some kind of activity or another. I don't think she realized how alone she was staying at home by herself, even with the family calling and stopping by daily. She is as happy and energetic as we have seen her in years. Cannot say enough good things about the Oaks Manor and the great people working there.

The personal touch and family atmosphere will draw you to want to choose your room and move right in! From the home cooked meals, to the personal care and family atmosphere it will only add to the stress free feeling you get while residing at The Oaks Manor. My mother has been a resident for five years and our family couldn’t be happier with the care and concern afforded to her. Living at The Oaks Manor truly does make her feel like she has a second family. We have been extremely pleased with her care and how she is treated by the very friendly staff. Our family feels confident that The Oaks Manor has their residents safety and happiness as their top priority. Thank you to everyone involved for your personal, caring ways shown to our mother and all of the residents at The Oaks Manor.

Response from The Oaks Manor
April 15, 2020Here at The Oaks Manor, our residents' family become our "extended family". Like your loved ones living in our community, we also miss talking with you in person and interacting with you on a daily basis during this Coronavirus pandemic. Thanks for entrusting us with the care of your loved one. We take their safety and security very seriously. God Bless!
I have been going to Oaks Manor at least once a week for several years now. I have been blessed to be a part of not only our weekly church services but also with Bible studies and a few music concerts. The residents are always ready to be a part of what is done. Besides what I am involved with it amazes me that there are always activities that the residents thoroughly await and enjoy. Great meals, loving staff, fantastic owners make your experience at the Oaks always a time to remember. You always have the feeling of home when you’re there. It’s great to know should either my wife or I ever need a place away from home to be helped with, we know the Oaks is right here. God bless and continued success to the Oaks Manor..

A Place for Mom has scored The Oaks Manor 7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
