Very nice people and clean, upbeat place. Slow getting going with administrative tasks. I'm happy mom is here. She will do well and seems happy. A few surprises; Didn't realize medicare supplement insurance is only regional and only changed at months end. This lapse caused some expensive drug outlays. Broadmoor did not get the docs drug list right at one point and we had to correct. (no harm done though) . Over all I believe it will be a great place. this year will tell the story.
MorningStar Memory Care is a relatively small community, so everyone knows everyone. The food is excellent. They routinely go on interesting outings. Staff is friendly and personable, while remaining very professional
I would like to express my gratitude to [name removed], the director. She is always available for me to talk with and comes over often to the Memory Care building to give hugs to each resident and see how they are doing in person. She is extraordinary. The chefs are fabulous. The food is so delicious and presented well. The soups should win some kind of award. Every meal is so good; I know because I sometimes eat with my husband so I speak from actual experience. I appreciate how they go the extra mile to give everyone something they will like. The housekeeping does a great job in keeping my husband's room clean and will come if an accident occurs and cleans it right away. I like the way the staff go out of their way to call the residents by their name right away and then connect with them as their stay continues. I feel very comfortable having my loved one there.
