They've done a great job here, I'd give them high marks across the board. The overall environment is just very very good. We looked at quite a few options in the area and this is the one that really stood out to us.

They are wonderful people here! They work very hard to give your money's worth, they go above and beyond. It's very well run. They are a little slow sometimes with answering the bell, but some of that is my expectations. We like the food. This is a community of kindness, that surprised me, sometimes I get weepy thinking about how kind they are. We knew right away when we visited, there is a feeling of warmth, you just know that this is a place where people are going to treat you with dignity and respect. There is a value in this community that says we want people here who are going to respect the residents. It's a very small community, I would hate to see it get too big, you get to know people here. The people who run this place are just wonderful people.

Love it but have another tour at another place in the morning.

Exceptional new facility. Too expensive for our dad's needs

Very impressed!! This place is very well managed and organized. The rooms are larger and have full kitchens, and some rooms even have their own washer and dryer! There were Residents everywhere we toured. Tami knew everyone's name and they knew her. Every resident we saw was having a great time. I didn't see anyone sitting alone. Everyone was involved in the activities. I was so impressed with everything about this facility, that I would love to live there!!!

They have three different facilities, and they just made a new addition for more acute memory care to handle people that are in the later stages. My mom used to volunteer at Meadow Woods, and they're an excellent place. I thought that they had good activities for the residents, it was clean, and the staff was friendly. They were also in the middle of upgrading and updating the whole thing.

My mother has lived at Champlin Shores for the last 4 years. We did have some problems with the staff a few times in the first couple years, but I am writing now as things have changed so much and gotten so much better. They have changed many things in the last couple years, which have been really good and I think it shows how much they care. Their new director and nurses are great. My mom has some pretty difficult health issues and they always take care of her and communicate really well with myself and my brothers. I would recommend Champlin Shores to anyone looking to help their family.

Everyone is so friendly; everyone is people from the dishwashers, chef, residents, to the people who take care of the office and us! It is very convenient to get around with elevators nearby, steps, indoor heated parking, trash and recycling near the elevators. I feel like a queen with the ease to receive guests in this wonderful atmosphere. Thank you so much Marcus for all your help in finding the perfect place for me!!! I do not use services yet.

Their staff is really friendly and they go above and beyond. The employees try to know every residents first name and greet everyone that comes in. They have excellent food. Their cook comes out and greets all the residents and asked if there is anything special they would like to eat. We are so lucky we got my mom in to this community. We looked at a lot of other places and this one was just amazing. They play bingo and many other games to keep everyone entertained. Husband and I were talking about moving ourselves in!

we chose trails because of the smaller feel. my mom was more comfortable in a smaller facility.

Met with Chris. This one was very nice and we came away feeling that it was one of, if not the, top candidate. The only downside was that it was large and may not have the 'homey feel' that a smaller one would. The unit was perfect and it looked like her diet could be addressed as a supplement to whatever she could eat out of the core meal. Chris said that they have never not met EW needs and he felt very comfortable that once her funds were depleted, that she would have a EW available.

Best of all we've seen. Has independent, assisted and memory care all in one facility. New, light and has small kitchens. No elderly waiver.

I toured Meadows on Fairview. I think this is a great place for my dad. I will talk to my mom and fill out an application for placement. Thanks for your help!!!

It was a struggle to in; however, it was well worth it. There was some concerns by the staff on what would and wouldn't work; however, we worked through them together for my loved one. There is medication management, toileting, dressing and hygiene care by the staff for my loved one. If there is a concern or question I have been able to get them resolved with the appropriate team members in the community. Arts and crafts, music, gardening, celebrations, and more are some of the activities for the residents to choose from. My loved one likes the food for the most part. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

If someone needs to go to an assisted living community I would recommend going to this community. I know that they have Halloween events and all of the staff were in costumes and participating. They also have entertainment that they put on for the residents.

the best thing we did was to move our loved one to the Pillars of White Bear over a year ago. the Pillars program provides extensive opportunities for musical enrichment, the activities director creates an atmosphere of caring and fun and engages residents in activities that are as varied as the population that calls the pillars their home. We love the meal options and the front desk staff always calls us by name. a new director, [name removed], has made significant improvements since coming on board and can often times be found hanging out talking to the residents or engaging with the staff. great place!

The long wait of 2+ years was worth it. Glad we held firm to come here.
