Southern Care is a great facility. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I would recommend them to a friend. They are cost-effective. My sister likes the food. They have a big porch with rockers in the front and other space in the back. The room sizes are of a good size.
It is an older community but recently renovate with apartments with adequate square footage. Staff was easy to work with even with a full upper management change. They were very caring when my father passed. I would and have recommended the community and A Place For Mom to others.
We are happy with the nursing care at Claiborne and Hughes Health Center. The therapy is going very well so far too. Their communication could be better especially when it comes to telling one person something to the next. For example, if we have a concern it might not get passed along as it should. That is more with the nursing department, in particular with the nurse techs.
