I love The Blake!! It's an excellent facility and my parents are adjusting nicely to living in their independent care cottage which is simply beautiful. Yes I would tell a friend.
The staff have always been very kind I just feel like they might not have enough coverage for the memory care unit. When you have patients that are wondering and trying to walk without assistance there just has to be enough coverage to make sure that everyone else is tended to. I go at different times and I really haven't seen any problems besides people wondering. They put a list of the activities up and they had an Easter bbq and we were not able to go due to being sick.
I am not a resident at the Bungalows, but I have a friend who is in memory care. I visit often and find that the staff are so nice and helpful. They get to know each resident’s likes and dislikes. At each meal time , there is always a member of staff available and helps each resident in whatever they need. Some residents go to the TV room after their meal and again a member is always around! I would recommend the bungalows to anyone who have a need for this type of care!
