I have met many wonderful staff here, as well as nice residents. The activities, although simple, are great and there are many, especially different types of exercise classes. The amenities and dining options listed on this site are totally wrong for this community. Wifi, when available is as slow as dial up from 40 years ago. Meals are so-so and are set hours, not available outside the specific times. "Snacks" is a bowl of packaged crackers or chips or a few apples and maybe bananas. They run out of many food items all the time and rarely have fresh fruit other than grapes pineapple and canteloupe. Cleaning is so-so. Care is understaffed and slow to respond to emergency call buttons. Carpets are dirty and stained. What was a luxury place when opened about 8 years ago has not been so in a long time and gets worse each day. 13% rent increases are in store for January 1, 2023.

I am safe and happy AND well-fed. I have been here for over 6 years - no complaints. [Name removed] helps take care of us.
Great staff and wonderful activities. Friendly people that make you feel at home. Activities that go with the holiday and fun for everyone. Our suggestions are welcome.
Beautiful, comfortable community. The housing is safe. Neighbors are friendly and engaged. 5 stars!
I have not lived here very long but these people are very helpful for everything. I really would not like to live at any other place.
Beautiful community.
I like it, good place to be.
Nice place.
Assisted Living is top of the line and I have been in 4 different communities.
Great med techs, social and fitness programs are great, food is great.
I enjoy it immensely.
There is a place that takes in people who are hurt or hurting and treats them as though they are whole. From the CNAs to the top person in the community, they treat everyone kindly. That is very amazing.
I find it a blessing to be here! Everyone is truly caring and helpful! And, it is a beautiful place!
Wellmore of Tega Cay is blessed with an activity staff that caters to all residents no matter which circumstances they face (cane, walker, wheel chairs). They orchestrate and encourage to a varied lot of residents with physical and mental workouts. Each person works to their own pace. Each is encouraged to excel. As we workout daily, modifications are expected. Some of the classes are: Strength & Restore, Body Recall, Balance, Resistance & Training, and CLIMB, to name a few. Another offering is "Parkinson's Circuit Class." Our class began recently with six people. We go to one of five 1-min. stations (boxing is one). Usually two cycles with stretching before and after. Parkinson's topics with guest speakers will be part of this program. Well thought out. Well planned. Wellmore.
I have been here for 3 years and have never had a bad experience. Any need can usually be taken care of. A weekly sheet tells us of the activities for seven days. We have the freedom to participate in those we would be interested in.
I will give the staff a 5 star when I moved in July 2019. I could not have felt more love from new friends that I do from the Wellmore group. During my stay the staff has exceeded the requirements of their job and have tried to fulfill our needs and wants. My thanks goes to all and so does my love.
Excellent, well done, exemplifies, pleasant, helpful.
After touring several long-term skilled nursing facilities, I concluded that Wellmore was the best for my mother. Morning activities are superb, food is good, and care is also good. The building and facilities/amenities are very nice. Staff are friendly. Like many facilities, it is difficult to hire permeant employees and so it is important to maintain the good staff that are already there.
We chose Wellmore of Tega Cay because we needed skilled nursing initially, now we are in assisted living. There is low staff turnover rate, so the staff really get to know the residents. They are also trained in helping residents with memory issues. I would highly recommend.

I come by once a month to play piano for residents and its always a pleasure. Friendly and caring staff, beautiful facility, and they have a nice piano too. Activity department is well organized, are engaged with the residents, and they are a pleasure to work with.
