I am very impressed with this center. It is beautiful with much to offer. The care is excellent. The nursing staff is wonderful. The aides do a great job and the activity director keeps it entertaining. The dining room is so elegant and the kitchen personal offer a fabulous menu to choose from. They allow pets so it’s so therapeutic for the residents.
It's roomy, many areas where residents can spend individual time or visit with other residents without being alone in their rooms all the time. Quality of food is very good. I think it is very homey.
Some staff definitely go above and beyond and give time and show they care to the individuals. The activities coordinator is great at keeping the individuals busy. The staff are why we chose this facility. My mom does not love the food, but her overall care is more important.

Nursing homes, also called skilled nursing facilities, provide long-term care for seniors with significant physical or mental health conditions, and short-term care to people recovering from an injury or hospital stay. Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home facility offers room and board to two or more individuals who have no family ties to the administrator. A nursing home facility provides its inhabitants with care by registered nurses. These caregivers offer health related services for those who are unable to adequately take care of their needs due to the effects of aging.
Nursing homes are a convenient and comfortable care option for persons 65 years or older, however nursing homes will frequently admit persons 55 and greater (a rarity in theworldof senior care). As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to get information on services and fees, participate in activities, have your representative notified about your care, and exercise your rights as a U.S. citizen. The most frequent mental condition effecting residents of nursing homes is dementia, which can cloud their memory function, and their sense of familiarity with their surroundings, and decision making abilities. Examples of amenities and servicesprovided at nursing homes might include intravenous or nutrition therapy, meal programs, care coordination and case management, and monitoring serious illness and unstable health status. Many residents of nursing homes are seniorswith behavioral problems. These can include verbal lash-outs, resisting care, or an inclination to wander.
