Rose Schnitzer Manor in Portland, OR
4.8

The family thought this was the best community out of the all the communities we toured and we are happy with our decision. The staff communication with the family is good. There are three meals a day served in the dining room and there are options for the residents to choose from. The residents can request the meals be delivered to their rooms as well. Art, exercise, entertainment, lectures, religious services, and more are some of the activities offered to the residents.

Somerset Assisted Living in Gladstone, OR

Somerset assisted living is an amazing place. The residents are happy and very well cared for. The staff treat residents like family. From the moment you walk in the atmosphere is welcoming everyone is smiling and happy. The administrator is very attentive listening to family’s and residents. Talking the time to put them first even when there is a lot going on. She has always been available to answer my questions or concerns. I am so happy my family is here and taken care of. If you are looking for a new forever home for your love one Somerset is the place.

Sellwood Senior Living in Portland, OR
4.5

One of the better communities. The staff are very personal and open to input. The meals are really good and they have good food. The cook has been there for 12 years and makes homemade desserts. The activities have stopped but it is due to Covid.

If a friend lived in the area it would be positive. My mother-in-law is in a community in Vancouver & I'd rate things about the same, but the cost is much lower.
