The Compass neighborhood at Cornerstone of Canton has been a blessing for my mom and my family. She was very reluctant to leave her home, but she finally did and has found a whole new life at Cornerstone and absolutely loves it there. Can't say enough about how wonderful it is, the activities, the meals, the special events are great. The residents really love them and I love seeing my mom so engaged in all the activities. The staff is wonderful to say the least, friendly, helpful and loved by my mom which is very important to me and my siblings. Shout out to [name removed]! She is always so patient and kind and helpful whenever I reach out to her with questions or concerns. I am so happy we chose Cornerstone for my mom, she is so happy here!!!
The staff is very nice. I feel reassured that my loved one is safe, has people to talk to, and things to do. Some of the activities include yoga, movies, games, happy hour, field trips, and more for the residents to choose from. The community has transportation to mass services, and doctor appointments, along with more. My loved one loves the food. The staff have been great to work with if I have questions or concerns.
They are very kind caring and helpful. Everyone there knew me and my children always asked how we are and when my dad passed some staff reached out to send condolences and hugs

A nursing home offers room and board to two or more seniors who have no family ties to the administrator. This type of residence offers its occupants around-the-clock care by registered nurses. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to be treated with respect, exercise your rights as a U.S. citizen, be free from abuse and neglect, and make complaints. Nursing homes are required to provide pharmaceutical services, nursing and related services, specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability), and medically-related social services to residents. Many occupants of nursing homes are persons with behavioral troubles. These can consist of verbal outbursts, resisting care, or a tendency to wander.
