Types of care available in Morton Grove, IL
I recommend Cantata because they have a robust rehab gym staffed with professionals in physical therapy, occupational therapy, balance, speech/memory therapy. It is located on a quiet tree lined landscaped campus with onsite Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Independent Living. The staff communicates very well with the resident and the family. Price is fair market/moderate.
Based on our experience I would recommend. So far everything has been very good no problems and everyone has been great and easy to work with.
Excellent caring staff. The food was always hot and fresh. Excellent chef as all of the food is made right there on premises. The nurses and aides were very caring and attentive to our needs. Great therapy team. The facility is immaculate I would highly recommend this facility

Nursing homes, also called skilled nursing facilities, provide long-term care for seniors with significant physical or mental health conditions, and short-term care to people recovering from an injury or hospital stay. Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home is a building that houses at least two persons who are not related by blood or by marriage to the administrator. A nursing home community provides its occupants with around-the-clock care by on-site nurses. These nurses offer healthcare services for those who cannot care for themselves.
Nursing homes are a familiar and comfy living alternative for persons 65 years or older, however nursing homes will commonly accept individuals 55 and older seldom heard of in senior care regarding other care types. Nursing homes are required to provide dietary services, emergency dental services, room and bed maintenance services, and medically-related social services to residents. Often times seniors may choose life in a nursing home due to a physical or mental condition that prevents them from easily accomplishing their standard of living. Types of amenities and services offered at nursing homes might include rehabilitation needed due to injury, disability, or illness, skilled nursing or medical care, help with shopping and transportation, and home care (like cooking, cleaning, or help with other daily activities). Some services come at an extra cost which can include specially prepared food, special care services not included in the community’s Medicaid payment, and personal clothing. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to be treated with respect, be free from discrimination, have protections against involuntary transfer or discharge, and be free from restraints.
