N/a when it comes to the meals and dining. Dad is in independent living apartment so makes own meals. The activities are outstanding. Tons of activities for the residents to participate in. The value for cost was more than what we originally planned to spend. But after being there and experiencing all they have to offer I feel it is well worth it. My dad really likes it there. It was a true blessing from God that we went there. Very friendly and helpful people.

The staff members are all definitely friendly, and we do think they offer good activities. We think it is nicely ran, everyone there is very nice. We would recommend this community to a family or friend.

Independent Living

Many seniors may be physically and mentally able to live without assistance, but the cost burden of home ownership and the upkeep of daily tasks and chores might be a deterrent to living an independent life. Independent Living Communities offer a great alternative to this situation. Daily needs such as meal planning and housekeeping are taken care of, which permits occupants more opportunities to live active lives as they wish. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Typically comprised of a private living space and a full kitchen, these communities offer homes with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily tasks out of the way. While policies differ between locations, many residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services may always be arranged for with private care providers if desired. There are an assortment of advantages and costs to balance while deciding on an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these services are covered in your care plan: utilities, Waiting list deposit, move-in fee, internet access, cable TV, wellness program, initial assessment fee, and transportation. The benefits that pertain to independent living include golf course, game/TV room, fitness center & swimming pool, laundry service, beauty salon & barber shop, security guards, concierge services, and private rental hall.
