They are very attentive to my parents. They treat them like royalty. The staff is kind and very eager to please. It is always clean and smells good. The food is good it's not great. Sunday dinners has always been important to my mother and the staff is working on that issue of getting a good nice meal together for the family on sundays mom likes it to be a little fancy. They have lots of daily activities and they do need to engage them a little more to those. Mom loves anything with kids and music my kids play the grand piano they have. They have a full hair and nail salon here. And billards that my kids love as well. They keep fresh flowers around. It is so homey feeling and my dad is doing so much better mentally here. I would recommend this community to everyone.

Always room for improvement but they have been great so far! I went to the mother's day celebration and was surprised to see the facilities director, HR directors and other non kitchen staff working the brunch. They all knew all of the residents name and even gave them all gifts. They have been more accommodating than I would have expected and my mom loves it there. Tons of activities and they take her to all of her appointments which is a huge relief for me! Thanks to A Place for Mom for the recommendation.

Independent Living

For many seniors, the burden of home ownership might deter them from an independent life. Independent Living Communities provide a convenient remedy. Daily needs such as the scheduling of social activities and housekeeping are taken care of, which permits occupants more opportunities to live active lives as they wish. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and interests. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering opportunities to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between locations, a number of residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services can always be arranged for with independent care providers if desired. There are a number of benefits and costs to balance while determining an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these services are included in your care plan: parking, Waiting list deposit, utilities, laundry, initial assessment fee, cable TV, meals, and wellness program. The benefits that pertain to independent living include fitness center & swimming pool, concierge services, transportation, laundry service, golf course, game/TV room, private rental hall, and healthcare center.
