This was good for about 6 to 8 months, then my wife started wandering outside if someone was not in the room with her all the time. As a family we decided that our home was no longer a safe place for her. We looked at a couple of care facilities in our area and after a couple of visits we decided on Welcome Home, a facility only 5 minutes away. Had a little bit of a rough start, but changed some medications and my wife is as happy and content as best as a person can be not being in their own home. Quite pleased with Welcome Home. Owner and staff is very friendly and caring every time we visit. The facility has 2 locked access doors for dementia patient security. Very pleased with Welcome Home.

This place looked really nice. The tour guide was very informative and showed me all around, and answered all of my questions. She greeted each guest by name, the guests looked happy and clean.

I have no complaints about how things are going for my father since he has recently made the move into this community. The staff are all very friendly and I comfortable with the care that he is receiving. I like that he is safe and I have a peace of mind in his new living environment. Although he is slowly getting adjusted he is enjoying the meals and some of the activities they have available.

My mother-in-law was here and we absolutely loved it. It's a smaller facility but they just didn't have the amount of people that we needed for her particular care. We didn't want to move her but we had to.

A Place for Mom has scored Welcome Home Assisted Living 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
