Wesley Court in Boiling Springs, SC

Everyone is very kind and the activities are amazing, just be sure the staff knows what you want and expect. It is a wonderful place and affordable which is very hard to find today. I would truly recommend Wesley Court and thank you guys for that referral.

The Blake at Hollingsworth Park in Greenville, SC
4.5

The facility is beautiful and new, the food was excellent....chef was great and accommodating. I felt the individual attention to my Dad was not always given as promised. There were a few times I had to follow up with administrators for follow through. The respite fees are expensive but it is a nice facility with a positive happy vibe. Some of the facilities I toured were pretty depressing .

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities provide seniors with a convenient balance between an independent lifestyle and not having to worry about the maintenance of basic tasks and chores. Basic tasks such as meal preparation and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is maintained, allowing residents the autonomy to use their time as they choose, free from daily responsibilities. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and backgrounds. Within the individual units, residents have access to a private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they choose. While policies differ between locations, numerous residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing care is desired, residents may always utilize the services of private health care professionalls. There are a number of costs and benefits to keep in mind when selecting an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are included in your plan: initial assessment fee, housekeeping, laundry, internet access, Waiting list deposit, transportation, cable TV, and field trips. The amenities that pertain to independent living include transportation, restaurant-style dining hall, fitness center & swimming pool, private rental hall, game/TV room, concierge services, security guards, and golf course.
