Memory care units are not beautiful like the assisted living apartments are in any facility. However, once you get over that, the caregiving at The Parker is first rate and the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and speech therapy are all outstanding. The food is up and down and I’ve noticed that my mom is happier when the food is good! I live close by so I can visit frequently. Proximity is essential!! We placed my in-laws at the Parker. One in memory care and one in assisted living. We have been very pleased with how they are doing. The staff at the Parker has been amazing! Friendly and caring exactly what we were hoping for.

She only stayed at the Parker for a 7 day respite. Overall we were happy with it for the time she was there. At the time there was never anyone at the front desk and the main door was propped open with a rock, which was a little concerning but was never an issue for us. The meals were great, and the staff was very friendly! They worked with us in a time where we desperately needed a safe space for her to stay and were 100% on board with helping us.

The level of service needed as they get older meaning the cost. Pricing and location was great for us.

Response from The Parker
March 5, 2024Hi, I'm Katie, Inspirit's Director of Marketing. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a sincere review. I've shared your feedback with the community team and Regional Director of Operations. We appreciate you choosing The Gardens at Liberty Park, and look forward to partnering with your family in delivering exceptional care.
All 5 stars! The main reason we initially chose The Parker was because of the location. [name removed] and [name removed] are key employees who are so kind and helpful!

There is often a disconnect between the management and what goes on day to day in the facility. My Father tested positive for Covid and I was never informed or contacted about it. There is high turnover at this facility (Over 15 people) came and went in 6 months, many in the same positions including the Nurse in charge, 3 cooks, 2 maintenance people and the rest care staff. Level of care was raised and price was increased $[removed] however from my perspective the level of care really didnt' change at all. There were many things I'd warn others to simply be wary of and check things out really well before making any decisions. It wasn't ALL bad, but these comments are all true.

Our family had an in person tour with The Parker and based on the tour experience solely, we would give them 5 out of 5. I liked their step-up care program and the way they discussed how the residents might move through that process. It was clean and fresh looking. Nothing dingy. I liked the apartments. Most of all I liked their one line item billing.
This is the Memory Care unit, so activities are understandably more restricted. There is a reasonable ratio of caregivers to residents. The staff has overall been extremely friendly and respectful. The individual bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy and kept clean. I would highly recommend this facility to others!

They worked with us very well on the forefront, getting her in under unusual circumstances and Kelly at the Parker was very responsive and understanding. She helped tremendously, and did her best to keep me informed! I'm not sure if that is the standard practice given our circumstances, but she was great to work with.

I toured this community and it was nice, but expensive.
The Parker gets all 5 stars. Appearance, cleanliness, food and friendliness of staff all outstanding. My family member has not had a single complaint in his time there since admission!

When we came to look at The Parker, they made it very appealing and affordable. They told us all of these great things that they were going to offer. Although it was affordable, the care was sub-par and they did not carry through with the promises that were made. They did not clean the rooms and we had a major issue with that. It was left up to families to clean the room, but for all that money we were paying we thought that should be included. The were not very attentive either. There were days they would ask if she wanted to eat or shower and if she said no, they just left her. The nursing staff is young and in-experienced and are just not very engaging with the residents. We had a couple of meetings with them about this issue but nothing changed. It is a beautiful facility, but once we moved in and got into a daily routine, it was not a good experience for our family.

I like the fact that the memory care unit is a smaller unit and so the caregivers have the opportunity to really get to know all of the residents. I would recommend The Parker to other families who are searching for memory care.

The main reason that we decided on The Parker was because all of the staff members that I met here during the tour were great. The one problem they have is they only have one maintenance man, so very seldom does that stuff get done in a timely manner. But the staff totally makes up for that - they are so sweet to my sister in law. I would definitely recommend the facility to others looking.

We chose The Parker because of the value for the money as well as the convenient location to us and family. We were impressed with the staff right off the bat. We have found everybody to be very friendly and helpful. The only concern we have is sometimes it is very difficult to get a hold of someone if you have a question, the phone goes to voicemail. Overall I would recommend the facility to other families.

If your family member is healthy and can talk and is not sick, its a great place to be. If your family member is sick, I would never put them here. The medical staff didn't return calls, they downplayed my concerns for my loved one. The medical care is bad. I would never put any one there again unless you can have someone there to take care of them. The executive team was great.

So far, my loved one seems to be happy with it. She says the food is good. They seem to be doing a fair amount of activities and keeping her pretty busy. The staff are friendly. Really the only issue is we've had something small go missing out of her room, likely due to another patient. I left a message for the manager but did not hear back from her.

It is a very nice place. It is one of the better places in our area for the price. We had some trouble getting started in the beginning but its much better now.

I loved this community the rooms and everything. This was assisted living and my mother wanted to be in independent living. We were just not ready for this step yet, however when the time is right my mother will be going here.
