Harrison Senior Living Of Coatesville

Only been at HH for slightly over a year but have found all the nurses and staff to be very friendly and helpful, always willing lend me a helping hand when I need it. I enjoy the many little features that are provided, which are not provided in other living environments. Every week a new menu for all the meals for the ensuing week, an Activities calendar the month with live entertainers at least every 2 weeks, exercise programs almost daily, games and social get togethers, and religious sessions for those who want them. In all, HH is organized to help the residents enjoy their stay. I almost forgot to mention the providing of transportation to medical appointments off campus. This has allowed me to sell my car and save money. The drivers are friendly and our chats have been enjoyable. Needless to say, I like HH and living here. It is now HOME to me.

Brandywine at Senior Suites in East Norriton, PA
5.0

First, you need to see this facility. They did a major renovation and it looks so different. It has been modernized and looks amazing. My Mom has been at Brandywine for a few years. It is a tough decision to make when your loved one needs more care than what you can give. The apartments are roomy. The food is wonderful. There are so many activities that one will never get bored. My Mom is now on the Reflections-Memory Care Unit. The care and support that she receives is amazing. She is well cared for. The staff is so genuine and supportive to my Mom and family. Administration takes the time to talk with you and answer your questions. It is like an extended family. I am so happy with making the decision to move my Mom to Brandywine.

The Heritage of Green Hills in Shillington, PA

Our loved one has since passed but she had moved into The Heritage of Green Hills which is a new facility that looks like a 4-star hotel. There were lots of different events, nice and friendly staff and better help.

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities provide individuals with a handy equilibrium between an opportunity to live an independent lifestyle and not having to worry about housekeeping. Meals, recreational activities and housekeeping responsibilities are taken care of while you are free to use your time as you choose. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they prefer. While policies vary between communities, many residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services may always be arranged for with independent care providers if desired. There are a number of costs and advantages to balance when selecting an independent living community. It is important to learn if these amenities are included in the service plan: transportation, internet access, private phone, cable TV, move-in fee, parking, field trips, and wellness program. The amenities that pertain to independent living include restaurant-style dining hall, community activities, security guards, fitness center & swimming pool, laundry service, transportation, golf course, and beauty salon & barber shop.
