Our loved one has since passed but she had moved into The Heritage of Green Hills which is a new facility that looks like a 4-star hotel. There were lots of different events, nice and friendly staff and better help.

They did a good job catering to his food preferences, the staff was super friendly and super with him, care was outstanding. We would most definitely recommend this community to other families.

Manor At Market Square in Reading, PA

3 meals a day is wonderful but only certain times for each. Not great for late risers. Getting emergency lab work isn't an option. Doctor visits are sporadic and doesn't seem to be consistent care. In fact there are no doctors that visit just nurses. Communication between care team and resident (or family) severely lacking.

Independent Living

If you or your loved one desire the convenience of having many of your frequent tasks taken care of while living life the way you desire, think about the option of independent living. Seniors can live their lives as they see fit while their meals are cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and social activities are organized and scheduled. Residents’ quarters consist of a private living space with their own kitchen. There are a variety of expenditures and benefits to keep in mind when determining an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are included in your care plan: move-in fee, initial assessment fee, internet access, meals, Waiting list deposit, parking, utilities, and laundry. The benefits associated with independent living include fitness center & swimming pool, concierge services, private rental hall, transportation, community activities, game/TV room, golf course, and healthcare center.
