It's been positive. The staff us caring, and busy about their tasks. Facility is well kept. Questions are answered by staff promptly. I have already recommended to others.

Regency Village at Bend

I really love this facility, everyone is just so great here. They’re so friendly and the staff is taking great care of my mother-in-law. It’s been a really tough transition for her and the community is being very kind. They actually showed her around to meet some of the other residents to hopefully get her acclimated quickly. Even though I haven’t tried the food, my mother-in-law says it’s really good. The grounds are always clean and they have a courtyard for everyone to walk along. For other activities, they have bingo nights, bible study groups, and trips to various stores around town. Everyone here has just been so kind. I would recommend this community.

Prestige Senior Living High Desert in Bend, OR

The staff are friendly & helpful, so far a good feeling about Prestige, clean, good meals. A tour around the area would be fun, to get out & enjoy a change of scenery. As far as cost goes, everything seems way to expensive!!

Independent Living

For many seniors, cost of owning a home and the upkeep of daily tasks and chores might deter them from an independent life. Independent Living Communities offer a convenient alternative to this situation. Food preparation, leisure activities and housekeeping duties are taken care of while you are free to use your time as you choose. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Within the individual units, residents have access to a private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a companion if they choose. While policies vary between locations, many residences allow cats and dogs as well. Nursing and health care services may always be arranged for with private care providers as desired. There are an assortment of expenses and advantages to keep in mind while selecting an independent living community. It is important to learn if these services are included in the care plan: internet access, initial assessment fee, cable TV, meals, Waiting list deposit, transportation, wellness program, and move-in fee. The benefits and amenities that pertain to independent living include private rental hall, beauty salon & barber shop, transportation, fitness center & swimming pool, security guards, concierge services, golf course, and community activities.
