Our family had a very horrible experience at Brookdale Redmond. The care was awful. I would NOT recommend them to others looking.

We moved my wife to a different facility. Brookdale was overpriced with not nearly enough help. The help worked hard but couldn't keep up. It was filthy, memory care was. The CEO was overpaid with too much bonus money that should have been used for more help. Would not recommend. I just want to stress how hard everyone works. I think the big problem are those that head the corporation.

Care team was great but always under staffed. There was no housekeeping services for over 4 months. This was supposed to happen weekly. No activities for several months. Over priced don't follow through on their contract obligations but want to make sure all monetary obligations are met. This is without regard for their omitted services. Food is terrible.

My loved one was previously a resident at Brookdale Redmond and the experience was terrible. I would not recommend this facility to others.

The care staff is overworked due to short staffing, but overall the staff is very friendly- from the front desk to maintenance. The housekeeping is not great and laundry isn't always done on time or consistently. The food is okay and so are the activities, though they could be more frequent.

Absolutely awful experience - would not recommend to anyone. There was literally zero care for my mother, outside of delivering medication and providing meals. No assisted showering, dressing, activities, never addressed that the emergency call cord was not next to the bed - took a week to have them address it - we moved her out of there after 9 days if that's any indication. If we could give them a 0 we would.

Our family had an in-person tour with Brookdale Redmond and it was very nice and [name removed] the office manager lady very helpful and actually talked to [community name removed] here and got us closer to home as her Brookdale was full at the time for the care my honey [name removed] needed daily. Yes, and there head nurse was very understanding of [name removed] Parkinson's and it's advancement but a 20-mile drive one way.

Even with our loved one being in a shared room it was very expensive each month

This is the best community it town I feel. The community is clean, and the staff and residents are friendly. The community is short staffed like other communities, and sometimes things fall through the cracks. The staff can be stretched thin with the things they have to get done. There are three meals a day served to the residents and there are choices to choose from. My loved one really enjoys breakfast, lunch and dinner are okay. The community provides a lot of activities; however, it seems to be geared more for the residents that are women. Crafts, high tea, and bingo are some of the activities offered.

We had a very poor experience We were led down the yellow brick road by their marketing/sales person. Immediately within a week of moving our loved one in, they said nobody told us she was full assist, and we can't take care of that here. Yet we were very black and white with them about her care needs from the start. We don't want anyone else to experience what we did there. They ended up knocking off some of the fees for care because they agreed we had been misled, that they could not provide the care they indicated they could. Our family was there often at all hours to care for our loved one due to the poor care. Often there was only one staff member to cover two whole floors for a shift. They have at least 60 rooms there and were either at full capacity or close to full capacity. The food was horrendous, and often inedible. When we toured, one of the main reasons we chose them was because all of the staff members we talked to were so friendly and so nice. It was a beautiful facility, and very light and bright. From the outside looking in, it seemed like they had so much to offer. We were shocked to find the level of care did not match up to that at all.

This is a very friendly, clean home with nurturing help, and meets all your needs. The staff are very responsive to the family's questions or concerns, and if they don't know the answer they find someone who does. The monthly fee covers the room, utilities including basic cable, laundry, changing of linens, and housekeeping. The medication management and assistance in getting to the dining room are some of the care the community offers to the residents. My loved one loves the food. They also have transportation for the residents to use, if needed.

What was represented in the beginning is not at all what we got. There is a major lack of communication between staff. My father passed away and they are still billing us for this month and next month. We had a terrible experience with them and would never recommend to others.

February 11, 2022We deeply regret that we were unable to meet all of your expectations. We want to thank you for your feedback and please know it will be reviewed and used to better serve our residents and their families in the future.
I like living here. I like the people. I love the food. The staff is very helpful.
I lived here for 8 years. I enjoy everyone that lives here. I have back up if needed.
I think this is a very nice place. I'm able to have my two cats with me and I've not had any problems with staff. I've been able to stay in the area where I had my first property to have my mom on and I do miss it, but know this will work better for me. I'm fortunate to have access to something this nice.
I am thankful to be here I wasn't able to be on my own anymore, but they give me what I need here. I also have friends, I didn't have that when I lived alone.
It's a good place here. I like the people and the food.
Well I live in AL and my wife lives in memory care. Its a good place to live since they can help you with all sorts of care levels.
