I love Brookdale Redmond I started there almost 6 years ago as a caregiver. The friendly atmosphere give you the opportunity to advance in the company if you have passion for it.
There is some very nice workers here. They seem to know what there doing. They are always there for me and my dog.
I love my apartment and the people that help my wife. My wife has dementia, that is why we live here. Me and my wife miss our old home, but this is becoming our new home.
It is a nice place. They take care of me, and help me when I need it. I have lived in assisted living as well as memory care, and they all know what I need.
I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The rooms are nice. The staff are accommodating, kind and caring. The location is nice. Our experience was during the pandemic. My loved one loved the meals.

We chose Brookdale Redmond because they had an independent living apartment available for my mom and also they do have memory care units which is important for her in the future. The location of the facility was also good. The apartment sizes here are large and spacious. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Brookdale Redmond because they had availability during covid and the location was good for family as well. We have briefly gone into moms room and it seems adequate. What sticks out to us is that they seem to have a far better understanding of dementia rather than some other places that she has been. She seems to be doing better here and I would recommend them.

I am very satisfied with my mother's residence and care. Nothing is perfect, and I have had some unpleasant experiences, but I have also had experiences when my expectations were exceeded. [Name removed], the sales and marketing manager, will bend over backwards to assist families who need help bringing their loved ones to Brookdale. I couldn't have done it without her. The Clare Bridge program is outstanding, and the program manager, [name removed], works well with my mother. My mother's happiness factor increased tenfold since she's been at Brookdale. Sometimes, the staff doesn't communicate with me in the manner I prefer. Emails and telephone calls go un-returned. I don't mean returned later, I mean completely not acknowledged. We are working on this. Brookdale is clean, modern, conveniently located, with plenty of parking. The staff members are helpful, and most are friendly. The food is great, the activities are numerous, and even pets are allowed in most situations. I am confident in my mother's care and safety.

They take great care of Mom including personal care and administration of meds. There's no way we could take care of her at home, but they do a great job and give her lots of opportunities for socialization.

My mom is in memory care. my mom almost died do to lack of proper med treatment and lack of water and food. Ask to be notified if yourloved one refuses meds for one day. No exception. They were to call me if mom tefused meds for two days. She had not had them for 4 days but no one notified me and she came near to dying. One of her pills is a thyroid med and if not taken she will go into a coma and die within approx. 7 days. She wents from having meals with the other residents in dining room to bed ridden in 4 days. She will never recover. I insisted they get her meds straightened out. She was beginning to feel better, still bed ridden and having to be fed. The same med tech came back to work and boom no med. Said my mom refused which we had told the facility for two years to put meds in ice cream. Guess we should have got some to demonstrate what it looks like because that med tech kept putting crushed meds in applesauce which mom hated. I make arrangements at funeral home yesterday because my mom will not fully recover. We have to be there every day to feed her and give her fluids because upper staff says they can't force feed her or feed her because of choking. We, family and friends feed her and give her fluids several times a day. We have not had issues with either. In fact my mom begged for help (her verbal skills little do to a possible stroke or her dementia in last year) in her now even more weakened voice. Whispers. She her self was able to ask us for help and is afraid we will take her food and water away. She puts a grip on her water bottle and won't let go because she is afraid she won't get any more. If I had not asked for a copy of mom's list of meds given day because I suspected something she would have died without her medicine.

My loved one lives here. We like the facility a lot but it is a little expensive and there was a bit of information regarding the cost of care that was not given to us until we got our first bill. However, the staff seems to be doing well with them and the building is kept pretty clean. They offer the same 3 or 4 food options every day and then they have other options you can choose from or ask for. I’ve seen what they serve and, to me, it doesn’t look that appealing. Another resident complained that they wouldn’t even feed it to their dog, but it at least seems to be well balanced and nutritious. The medication department talks with their doctor about once a week so they’re both in sync and giving them the right medications. It’s been a bit of a transition, but we’re working through it.

I toured here when looking for a place for my parents to go. It was okay, I just didn’t care for it much. It didn’t feel that clean to me. It wasn’t filthy, but it just didn’t feel clean. It’s not a lot more expensive than any other place that I’ve gone to. Everyone seemed friendly and very open to helping us, though, so that wasn’t a concern at all. I didn’t think my parents would like the décor of it. Ultimately, we went with a different community.

My mother is a very difficult person to deal with so I am very appreciative that this staff is very patient and understanding of our circumstances. Since I don't live nearby they are constantly keeping me updated as to how and what my mother is doing. The community from the one time I was there appeared very clean and well maintained. It's hard to say whether or not the food is good or not my mother says she eats whether or not she does I don't know for sure.

So far they have been taking very good care of my mom at Brookdale Redmond. It is a beautiful well-maintained community. I was pleasantly surprised how nice and clean it was. It feels like walking into a hotel or resort, not an assisted living facility. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Her apartment is very bright and airy and clean smelling. They provide activities and outside excursions which she has just started to participating in. She has been going down to the dining room to eat and socialize with the residents and she is getting acquainted and making new friends. Outside they have a garden area where the residents can plant and attend to the beautiful flowers, and there is a nice pathway to walk around and enjoy the nicely landscaped grounds. I would recommend this community to others, so far I am very impressed.

I had a nice tour of this community. From what I saw the community looked nice and clean, the staff was nice, and our questions were answered. It was a nice experience, but it wasn't the right fit for my dad.

I have no complaints about how things are going for my loved one at this community. The staff have been wonderful and have provided her with excellent quality of care. She has had no problems with the food and enjoys participating in activities with the other residents throughout the day. Overall its been a great experience for her and we are very happy.

Their understaffed, under-trained, there is no assistance in the living. There is a high turnover of the staff, managers, and the residents. They have billed for services they are not providing, so I do not understand why they can call it "Assisted Living". Now that my mother needs more services, they will not provide the assistance and we will have to look at other options. The 3 options they gave us was the memory unit, 24 hour one-one care provided by family, or she could leave the community. Warning, don't place your loved ones there here you care for them.

I moved my parents to this facility a year and half ago. They have good care staff, but a terrible office staff. We had to spend 3 hours to help them fill out the initial contracts as they did not know how. They also tried to bill for the first full month when they did not move in till the middle of the month and then when my father passed away in the middle of the month billed for personal care and meals for the rest of the month after he had died. Currently they have backed billed us for over $40,000 going back 5 months after not notifying us 30 days in advance according to their contract or setting up a new contract. They have also not done a new yearly contract. We have been trying to solve billing issues for over 7 months!
