This place advertises as though it is filled with 60-year old very active and dynamic boomers. In reality most of the residents are in their late 80's and beyond, with walkers and the need for extra assistance. The management is in denial of this and there are no safety measures in place. The building is beautiful and the apartments are very nice. The food used to be amazing but staff have changed. My parents chose not to renew their lease and are moving.

The thing that impressed me the most at the beginning was the friendliness of the staff. They remember people's names, and that really makes you feel welcome. I like my apartment very much, and their cleaning people come in and do a good job. The food is outstanding. And there's lots to do here.

It's a very clean, updated, nice place. One of my grandsons asked me how old you have to be to live here. It gives you a good impression when you walk in, and the landscaping is beautiful. The staff is good, but maintenance and housekeeping is not so good. They clean once every two weeks instead of every week, and they don't change your bed for you. It's pretty spendy compared to where I came from, but it's a good place with a lot of amenities, including a pool and a gym. I would recommend them. It just depends on what you're looking for.

The whole community is based around a small living space and a wide open activity space. They want you to be out mingling with the other residents and out doing activities. With Covid, they don't have that. You're sequestered to your room except to go out to walk your dog. The apartments are small. The weight room, the barber shop, the pool, are all shut down due to Covid. It makes it really not worth it to be here. I think the residents should get a price break on the food. They're getting charged like they're going out to a restaurant, yet they have a monthly allowance for food that doesn't cover a day's worth of food at restaurant prices. The Alexander has been able to keep up with housekeeping during Covid. They're not dirty by any means. The cleaning staff is always out and about somewhere, wiping handles and things. And the staff is super friendly. It's just that their hands are tied with the way the governor is handling things.

Very small units but a beautiful community. I would love to live here! I don't think that it really felt like a community.
It is an independent placed, its a newer facility the property is managed well which we really enjoy. Overall our experience has been really good.
