College Walk Retirement Ctr in Brevard, NC

This community does offer a lot of activities and amenities. This feels like an upscale community. They have a formal dining room where the wait staff take your order and then bring the meal to you. They offer computers for the residents to use. The staff were friendly and helpful. This community is higher in price. I would recommend taking a look at this community.

Trinity View Retirement Community in Arden, NC

I am glad I am here at Trinity View. They are able to provide the care that my loved one needs and I am close by to see them. The staff are very helpful to work with if I have questions or concerns. The meals are usually good. Some of the activities available are music, theater, church service, trips in town, and more for the residents to choose from.

Independent Living

If you or your loved one would like the peace of mind of having your chores taken care of by professionalls while living life at your own pace, think about the option of an Independent Living Community. Frequent needs such as housekeeping and meal planning are taken care of, allowing residents more opportunities to live their lives as they see fit. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. While policies vary between communities, many residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to enlist the services of independent health care providers, they always have the option. There are an assortment of expenditures and benefits to consider while choosing an independent living community. It is important to learn if these amenities are covered in your care plan: cable TV, private phone, move-in fee, utilities, parking, transportation, laundry, and internet access. The benefits associated with independent living include beauty salon & barber shop, game/TV room, community activities, fitness center & swimming pool, laundry service, golf course, private rental hall, and transportation.
