After visiting four other retirement facilities, we selected Avila for its friendly climate, services offered, meal opportunities, and several religious services provided on-site. Now, with three years of experience at Avila, we are pleased with our decision to join this community. We also know that Avila was selected the "Best in the Capital Region" for retirement communities through the Times Union for 2024. We now look forward to many more years at Avila.
I have been a Resident of Beechwood for over six years, but at this time of pandemic and destructive weather events I especially appreciate the "peace of mind" it allows me. Not having to worry about handling details of a healthy and safe environment is a blessing.
It's been great! The staff are wonderful. Everyone is helpful and compassionate. They were the only facility in the area that offers an ALP for if my Aunt's finances are such that she needs to such to Medicaid. Big plus and draw with that feature.
